We bought this to use our awesome Max Burton induction burner with some aluminum pans.

Put it on the burner, put an aluminum fry pan on top, with eggs in the pan, turned on the induction burner, and we waited...

Half a second later, there was a series of loud metallic pops. This kind of freaked us out, as you don't normally see that kind of behaviour in major appliances.

Upon immediately turning it off, we examined everything and noted rather large blisters in the thin metal sheeting on this disk. It no longer sat flat, and very little of the disk would make contact with the burner any more.

It lasted an incredible half of a second before breaking.

We contacted the company from which we bought it on Amazon (don't remember who it was so consider this review to be of the item, not the seller), and heard nothing back.

Fifty bucks flushed down the toilet.

NOT recommended.

This item does everything the manufacturer claims. All cookware can now be used on an induction cook-top, the tri-ply disk distributes the heat evenly, and the silicone handle is comfortable to hold, remaining cool in use.

I have an aluminum pressure canner, a non-stick hard-anodized sauce pan reserved for milk-based sauces and custards, a glass vacuum coffee pot, and several other items of cookware made of non-magnetic materials which are not induction compatible. Were it not for these items, I would not have bought this interface which effectively reduces the controllability, instant response, and efficiency to below that of a radiant cook-top.

Buy this item if you must retain cookware which is not induction compatible it will work well with them.

BUT... it makes absolutely no sense to hobble an induction cook-top's capabilities after paying its premium cost.

AND... It is far more than twice the price I would expect to pay for this item when comparing it with the price of an economy set of tri-ply, induction compatible cookware (which can now be found for around $150).

Sooner or later a competitor will challenge this manufacturer's monopoly and prices will fall. Until then it merits a very reluctant overall score of 4 stars. Were it not for my "special" items of cookware, this would warrant 2 stars.

This interface disk worked great when boiling water in my NON-magnetic tea kettle... And it DOES let you use just about ANY pot or pan you own on an induction cooktop. BUT, for it's simple design and manufacturing, the price is DOUBLE what it should be !!!!!! Go ahead, bite the bullet.. what else can you do to be able to use your existing pots and pans ?? By the way, 4 cups of water boiled 30 seconds FASTER using this AND the Burton induction cooktop, than it did on my smooth glass cooktop on high ! I just HAD TO compare the two !!!!

Honest reviews on Max Burton 6010 8-Inch Induction Interface Disk with Heat-Proof

I thought this interface disk would be a nice adjunct to the old pans, especially popcorn popper that wouldn't work on the new induction oven. I was wrong! Just today, I tried it for the first time on popcorn. When the "test" kernels weren't popping, I checked the temperature of the bottom of the pan. It was MUCH too low. Then I checked the induction plate temperature with both a digital probe as well as infrared temperature. Way Low! I switched to a regular induction pot and the temperature zoomed right up and the popcorn was done promptly. In order to shake the pot and not scratch the glass top surface, I placed a paper towel underneath during cooking. While it browned a bit it worked like a charm and I was able to shake the pan on the cook top without it scratching.

I hope you read this and NOT buy this product! It was a waste of money!

I was really looking forward to purchasing an induction disk so that i could continue to use my non-induction ready pans on my new Kenmore Elite slide in stove. First use, the stove's induction cooktop instantly recognized the disk's magnetic characteristics and kicked right in. A few seconds later the stove went into error mode and the stove completely shut down and would not respond while the disk remained on the burner. The error code would not clear while the disk was on the stove. Once I removed the disk and replaced it with a magnetic pan, the error code went away and the stove resumed to work like a charm. I repeated the process several times. Each time the disk sent the stove into a error mode. Previously and since, the stove works great with all other magnetic fry pans and pots. I don't know why I had a problem with this disk. Perhaps other stoves would not experience the same difficulties.

The heat wire works, but the breaker doesn't fit any American breaker boxes, the thermostat doesn't fit any electrical boxes and is next to impossible to program and the foil tape is so thin and poorly made it is basically useless. This product is made for sale in another country, repackaged in english, and sold in the US.

Looks like a no brainer to install but haven't gotten to that step yet in the remodeling job. With no mat, it will take longer to lay it out, but with the savings over the easier method, we feel it was a good purchase. As retired people with a fixed income, we are always interested in the most economical choice.

I purchased 3 two drawer towel warmers in preparation for an upcoming promotion for my massage therapy business. The first time we plugged one in only one drawer worked. All 3 had seals that were loose. Soon, another warmer lost a drawer and all three warmers now have door seals that are hanging off. They are not put together well, and probably haven't been used more than 2 hours each and ara already falling apart.

Well it's hard to turn down with free shipping and a almost $100.00 mark down right?

This was exactly as described in the one star review here. I also purchased for a spa fair and didn't realize that one 1/2 this size would certainly accomodate at least 12 towels at a time. This "jumbo" version: top and bottom will probably only get used on top, except during the fairs. It also could easily accomodate 30+hand towels. I don't know where these manufacturers get their estimates on how many towels the warmers hold...?

In addition it's glued-on tag was hanging off exposing screws, one on/off switch is crooked and the box came torn up despite poor packaging warmer was undamaged. The seals are terrible (first demo w/2 towels it leaked) and if we used it more I'd send it right back. I almost find it offensive that we are (as consumers) stuck with bulky things like this because it's more trouble than worth the time to send them back...

There is nothing good about this warmer. It rusted in less then 2 weeks, the seals don't fit, the heater scorched my towels, one bay doesn't heat up, there is a bad smell from them when turned on. Overall cheap and not worth a price of FREE.

I bought this 3 years ago and it has worked really wel... that is until I went to fire it up this fall (what would be it's 3rd year of operation).

The fuel pump had issues after a bunch of work it's ok again... but the unit itself is showing signs of use (as in the front metal diffuser plate is just about melted through) this will certainly be the last winter for this unit.

Pros: has been reliable, lights quickly, minimal smoke and soot

COns: single speed, loud, not tri-fuel, difficult to refuel

In the end I'd recommend and re buy this unit it's cheaper than others and has served me very well to heat a shop/barn for 2 long Upstate NY winters.

There are plenty of heaters like this out in the marketplace, but few are as compact as this, which is advantageous when using it in a small garage. It's a snap to use and moves about easily when placed on a small mover's dolly so it can be positioned where one needs it. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it and highly recommend it.

This was my second purchase of the same unit in 5 years. The first had finally worn out with a bad fan bearing and a cracked heater plate following 5 winters of nearly constant use. Pound for pound, this is the best portable kerosene heater on the market. It kicks out 70,000 BTU's in a small very quiet package. We run this inside an enclosed outdoor patio of 800 square feet. We're able to enjoy a warm climate controlled space through the winter months without shouting over the noise of a loud heater. There is virtually no kerosene smell and best of all, this sells for a very reasonable price. This unit is highly recommended.

I bought this AC unit during the excess heat wave this summer. The unit, (once properly vented) works really well for cooling my bed room but it shuts off when the water needs drained. Durning these hot temperatures this is after only 2-2.5 hrs. Draining the water is not an easy task because the drain is only 1 inch from the floor so you can only use a really really shallow dish. It does come with a hose to connect to a drain for continous drainage but the drain must be below or at the same level as the AC unit.

This drainage problem makes the unit NOT useful for long term cooling (you can't run it all night or use it to cool while at work)

As a long term solution I am working on buidling a stand to set the unit on for continous drainage into a bucket but it is heavey and vibration makes noise a problem. Other portable AC unit have a collecting bottle which is easy to revome for drainage.

I bought my Sunpentown in May of 2005. When it arrived the LED display was broken and the 12,000 BTU air conditioner was not capable of cooling my 150 square foot room. I called Sunpentown and explained the situation. They said that as long as the output temperature was 20% cooler than the input temperature the unit was considered to be functioning properly.

Do the math. If your room is 95 degrees, a 20% reduction means that the air coming out of the AC is still a sweltering 78 degrees! A 12,000 BTU air conditioner should turn my tiny room into a meat locker, even on the hottest days. The Sunpentown struggled to make the room comfortable anytime the temperature exceeded 80 degrees. Since the LCD was broken I decided to have them replace my unit hoping that I might get a better one. The second unit worked as poorly as the first, but at least the LCD was visible.

As others have noted, drainage is a constant issue with these units. Mine would only run for 3-4 hours before drainage was required so I wound up putting it on a stand and running a hose from the discharge area to a 5 gallon bucket. There is simply too much water produced for it to successfully blow out the exhaust hose. It should be noted that my unit only had 1.5 feet of exhaust hose with no bends so it was an ideal installation. If you have any bends in the hose it will only make matters worse.

In August 2006 the unit quit cooling the air. The compressor would kick on, but no cooling occurred. I called Sunpentown but since my unit was 3 months over the 1 year warranty they wouldn't do anything. My only option was to ship the unit to their facility at my cost, have them diagnose and repair the unit at "flat rate" (but they wouldn't discuss specific prices) and ship it back to me at my expense.

Not wanting to incur $175 in shipping charges PLUS the unspecified repair fees just to return my Sunpentown Portable Air Conditioner to its unacceptably poor level of functionality I sent my unit to a place it truly belongs THE LANDFILL.

If a normal window unit won't work for you, save yourself a lot of money/time/aggravation and buy a giant industrial size fan. Sunpentown builds lousy products and provides lousy service when those products fail.

My experience with a Supentown Portable AC Unit is very similar to what 'Thorion (Rome, NY)' reported. I purchased a WA-1200E in June 2006 and it died last week (end of June 2007). This unit was lightly used (less than 10 hours per week during warm months only) . I contacted their support staff and, although they were prompt to reply, they indicated that the unit was out of warranty and that nothing was covered. They gave me the option of shipping the unit (85 lbs) at my own expense back to their warehouse in CA. They would then determine what part(s) failed and charge me for the replacement parts, labor and return shipping. Their other suggestion / advice was to take it to a local repair shop of my choice and have them find out the problem...then order the replacement parts from them. Either way....TERRIBLE! For a costly unit like this it should last way longer than 12 1/2 months. DO NOT BUY!!!

Honest reviews on SPT WA-1230E 12,000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control

I was shocked at how useless this thing was. I would turn this unit on immediately when I come home from work. The initial reading on the unit would say something like 95% (house was all closed up). The unit could not even drop the room temperature below 90%. After about 1hr the exhaust hose would radiate so much heat into the room that the unit made a better heater than air conditioner. The vents blow upwards as if to cool the ceiling. You cannot adjust them vertically. The unit is also very loud.

I returned the unit after giving it a try for about 3 weeks. The other pain is returning this. You have to put it back in the box it came in with all the paper work and then carry this 85 pound box to a fedex place to have it shipped back to the manufacturer. You have to pay shipping to send it back and you are not refunded that amount. Plus there is a 6% restocking fee.

Good riddance.

I bought this product in the summer of 07. I live in a room over the garage that gets the brunt of the sun and therefor reaches 78-80 degrees even with the AC on. At first the unit after running for a couple hours would drop the temp to 72 on a summer day but no lower. The first spring/summer I did not have to change the water at all. The next spring/summer it could only drop the temp down to 73-74 and I had to change the water 5-6 times. Now only less than 3 years later we are in the midst of our first 80 degree week. The unit is only dropping the temp to 75 and I've had to change the water twice in two days.

Please read everyone's review about how hard it is to change the water. I can confirm every complaint.

If I had to do it over I would have gone another route towards cooling my room.

I just (unfortunately) bought this heater on ebay. Luckily I didn't pay a lot for it. The heater has trouble keeping the set temperature and there is NO factory warranty that comes with it. realize that all electric heaters put out a max of a little more than 5000 btu's per their 1500 watt rating. so do not be fooled into spending more on features to get nothing. it is good to have a thermostat for auto temperature control but beyond that money is wasted on remote controls and the like. up to 50 dollars for a fan forced or oil filled heater with thermostat is the sensible way to go.

I am using this fan to blow heat from the room my wood stove is located in, past the stairs to the second floor, to heat the rest of the first floor. Before installing the fan, the second floor was sweltering hot, while the remainder of the first floor was too cool, even with mild outdoor temps. With the fan in place, it is moving the heat to where it needs to be and keeping most of it from just going up the stairs. It is USA made and has a heft that suggests a good heavy duty motor. Also has a nice long cord to reach low outlets. Has two speeds, according to the box, delivering 60 cfm and 90 cfm, consumes 25 watts.

At first I was going to give this two stars because I like the design, however I realized that I don't want to lead people into thinking that this fan does its job.

I've been looking at several door jamb fans so I can move some of the cooler air from one room to another in the summer. I have a small office off of my dining room that gets a little stuffy. I chose this fan over the Entree-Air fan because this fan has two speeds and has the same size fan (and I heard that the other one is quite noisy). I thought that this fan was the answer so much so that I bought two (which will be important later on).

Pros: compact shape

bottom mounted 2 speed switch

bottom mounted cord

mounting brackets

Cons: IT ONLY MOVES AIR AROUND THE EDGES OF THE FAN BLADES. I don't know why, but it if you put your hand directly in front of it (within a few inches or even a foot away, you feel NOTHING. This isn't rocket science if you don't feel the air, it's not there. I thought it was defective, so I plugged in the other fan I ordered same issue. This fan is supposedly rated up to 50 / 90cfm (low / high). Around the edges, the air really moves, but it's been more of a white noise maker that hangs in my doorway than anything else. For $45, I expected much much more. Plus, the color is not really white, but a cream color reminiscent of the faded plastic from some old appliance circa 1970 something.

I have found a solution though the O2 Cool Portable Fan (can be found on Amazon but I got mine at Pathmark for $7). It can be powered with two D cells or you can purchase an AC adaptor $10. Small fan HUGE amount of air and a lot cheaper than anything else. I inverted them in my doorways hung using 3M pulltab strips. The only concern I have is longevity The fan was not designed my my intended purpose, but we'll have to wait and see.

Best Deals on Minuteman International F-10 Room to Room Doorway Fan

Significantly noisier than expected. Even on low, you know it's there. Also moves less air than expected. Even on high, it just doesn't feel like much. All in all, I guess it serves its purpose, but there has to be something better out there...

Way too noisy to even run. This is just a small ugly off white fan piece of crap. Get a computer fan instead.

We had a DGB-600BC and used it daily for about 4 years. The grinder assembly finally seized and we could no longer remove it. We had been looking around for a new coffee maker, anyway, so we went ahead and bought this one (DGB-650BC) at a local store.

We've been using it for a couple weeks now and it makes a fine cup of coffee, just like the last one did. I noticed right away, that a few things that turned out to be issues with the last model had been fixed or improved upon with this one.

1) The grinder compartment is much better separated from the water reservoir and also designed better for all the grounds to go into the filter basket. The older model always left a bit of a mess, both in the grinder compartment and on the little shelf that separated the filter basket from the coffee pot, and around the burner plate. I haven't seen any of that mess with this model. I can't tell you how happy that makes me.

2) The little shelf I spoke about in #1 is now gone. That's a plus. Since this maker is designed better, it isn't needed anyway. Also, this shelf caused build up around the door latch making it hard to shut after a very short time. I'm glad it's gone.

3) The filter basket door mechanism is far better designed. The old model I had to slam shut, sometimes repeatedly, before it would stay shut. This one has a much better and more sturdy hinge mechanism and latch.

4) New to this model (the old one didn't have this) is a window on the side so you can see how much water you're pouring in. It's clearly marked and has a red floating ball to make it easy to see. I really like this feature.

The grinder seem a little louder than the old one, but I've never met a coffee grinder that wasn't loud and it's only for a very short time. I love having freshly ground coffee first thing in the morning.

As far as cleanup goes for the grinding assembly and filter basket, it only takes a minute or two. Aside from the coffee pot itself, there are 5 pieces to clean and it really is quick and easy to empty the filter basket and rinse the pieces.

In short, this is fine coffee maker, much improved from the DGB-600BC, and I am happy we upgraded to it.

I love the new look! We had the older version for about 6 years. This new one is sleeker and much easier to clean and keep clean (the inside where the grinder sits gets cakey due to condensation). I got it for $149, used Amazon Prime, and had it in a few days! I love it. If you're thinking of getting this grind and brew with stainless carafe, it is nice. Some parts will have to be replaced over the years like the older version, but the taste of the freshly ground coffee every day is worth it. I never pre-heat the carafe like the directions say because that defeats the purpose of the timer. I've never had an issue with the coffee temperature, it's always hot! I also recommend hand-washing over dishwasher. The carbon filters are similar to Brita and can be found for cheap at Kohl's. One other note is it only makes 10 cups as opposed to the typical 12 cups. This is fine for me because it's just me and my husband, but if you need to make a ton of coffee regularly, this may not be a good choice. Overall, I love it and I'm glad I traded up!

Best Deals on Cuisinart DGB-650BC Grind-and-Brew Thermal 10-Cup Automatic

Let me start by admitting that I am a novice when it comes to drinking coffee, much less owning coffee machines. This is the first coffee machine I've ever bought, but I've been very happy with it thus far. If you purchase it, definitely read the directions as there are a couple of small points they bring out, that you wouldn't otherwise know. (For instance, when you place the goldtone coffee filter in, the handle which can rest in either direction, must face outwards.) I just mention this, since I am usually one to NOT read directions, and I'm sure most others who have owned coffe machines wouldn't either, but it seems valuable in this particular case.

The main reason I went with this unit, was Cuisineart had the only ones in Bed Bath & Beyond which can be programmed to grind then brew. I leave it on my desk at work, and have it programmed to grind/brew right before I arrive in the morning. And it's awesome. Only used it several times so far, but no complaints. Cleaning is relatively easy but (like any other coffee brewer/grinder I assume) you have to clean it every day. Not a big deal though, so far I've just been taking the grinder and filter parts out, and rinsing them out. Not sure how important it is to use soap...

The most valuable thing I can tell you, that you won't read on the box, is that the thermal caraffe REALLY DOES work great. I don't pre-heat the caraffe, since I have it sitting out from the night before. I have mine programmed to start brewing at 8:30am. And believe it or not, despite the fact that there is no heater that runs after it's done brewing... the coffee stays HOT for a long time. It stays piping hot for several hours, and even at 2:30pm, it is still drinkably warm. I never expected it to stay that warm for 6 hours, far exceeded my expecations.

Easy to program, but you have to remember to press the Program button each night before. Although, that's not really a big deal since you have to add water and all the other stuff anyway. It's a safety feature really.

Grinder noise isn't super loud, and it only runs for 60 seconds so who cares. Mine is sitting on my desk in my cube, but I program it to run before most people arrive in the office so it's not a problem.

Very short 2ft. power cord with the unit, which will be great for kitchen countertops where you can put it by an outlet, otherwise you might need an extension cord.

Can't speak about reliability. Hopefully they fixed some of the issues people had with this unit's predecessor. Will revise my review later if I have issues.

I've rated it 5 stars, for $129 I feel that I got what I expected and paid for, and really don't have any complaints. I also haven't seen ANYTHING in the market that does what this does, in the same price range. Is there not a demand for coffee grinder/brewers? I mean, why wouldn't you want to have something that you can program to do both before you even wake up? For me, there was no other choice.

Cuisinart has a more expensive model than this one, but it was $70 more and the only feature that really seemed to be valuable was it's "burr grinder" which is supposedly better. But it didn't seem like that was worth $70 more to me, so I thought this was the best value.

Honest reviews on Cuisinart DGB-650BC Grind-and-Brew Thermal 10-Cup Automatic

I ordered this coffee maker knowing that Cuisinart produces very fine products but I have to say I am not real happy with this particular product. The grinder grinds the beans VERY coarse which doesn't make a very strong cup of coffee so I'm back to grinding my coffee with my burr grinder. The setting for 1-4 cups does not make the water warmer as advertised (it comes out luke warm) so I just don't push that button when making a small pot of coffee. I do find that when brewing a full pot it does keep the coffee hot for quite a while. I think, if I order another Cuisinart coffeemaker in the future, that I will pay a little more and get the coffeemaker with the burr grinder and with a hot-plate instead of the thermal carafe.

For those who want grind and brew features this is the best product for the money. There are the higher priced models but some of us have to stay on a budget. Compared to the earlier version, I've had 3 of the earlier ones; they do tend to break down after 2 years. This model has significant improvements. The best is that it is so much easier to clean the grinding area. The earlier model was next to impossible, this more open design makes it possible to actually get those beans that get into the grinding area out.

In reading the other reviews I did have a few concerns.

1. The sediment from the filter: Well that's the reality of permanent filters. So it's convenience of not having to get those paper things out and over to the trash. If that detail is annoying use paper. Even the high priced machines have that issue and Cuisnart clearly informs you of this issue with a notice before unpacking the product.

2. Noise: The review that goes on about how noisy this machine is. Gad face reality, these are coffee beans getting ground up in somewhat large area in an enclosed area without a lot of sound insulation. It is going to get loud. No louder than a regular coffee grinder and a lot quieter than a garbage disposal. To avoid having the noise in the morning I do the unthinkable, grind the beans the evening before. OK, I'm not a purist.

3. Coffee not the right temp: Face reality, the carafe is going to be the same temp as the room it's sitting in. So it like most people who turn down there temp in their house at night to let's say even 68 degrees at night or even 70, the the physics say the carafe temp is going to be 70. Now, brew coffee and when it gets into the insulated carafe the temp is going to average out. Since the insulated model doesn't have a warming plate, you're may want to take into consideration that you're brewing into a room temp carafe and the coffee temp is going to cool down. Cuisinart clearly informs you that simply warming up the carafe with hot water before brewing takes care of this issue. I easily deal with this when the machine starts brewing you have a good 30-45 seconds before the first drop comes out and the machine does have a function to keep coffee from coming out unless the carafe is properly placed. That gives plenty of time to run some hot water into it, get the inside temp up and the result is coffee at the perfect temp. Now I do have to say that it is very easy for me because I have one of those instant hot water faucets at the sink so I don't have to wait for the hot water to start flowing.

There have been some very good user oriented changes to this model. It's not perfect, but for the money it's the best you're going to find on the market. Take the critics in these reviews with a grain of salt.

Of course one of the reasons I am really, really happy with this machine is that I ran into it when Amazon had it on sale for $110 with a $30 rebate from Cuisinart. My final cost was $85!! I called customer service to see how the rebate would work. They told me a mail-in coupon would come with the product. When the product arrived ( 3 days later, and I used the free standard shipping during the holiday period) there was no rebate coupon. I called customer service and their response was "we'll just add a $30 credit" to your account. I was expecting getting a run around anticipating that they would put the problem off on Cuisinart. But no, Amazon steps up to plate, resolves the problem in less than 1 minute and the credit appeared on my credit card the next day. Now that is customer service!!

My hats off to Amazon to putting the customer first. Beyond the coffee maker at $85 final cost with free shipping, I have to say that Amazon has matured into a very customer focused retailer. They have moved beyond good prices and the convenience of shopping at home; they are real competition to the brick & moter stores. Amazon's focus on the customer actually gives the retail experience a lot of us remember in the "old department store" days.

I have never taken the time to write a product review, but I do enjoy having them available to get unbiased reviews and input. This time I felt it was only fair to take the time to put a realistic perspective to some of the negative reviews while at the same time expressing my positive experience with Amazon. For me Amazon has primarily been a convenience factor, now I shop with them because of their dependability and customer service focus. Price is not the driver for me anymore. I've just learned that if I really want customer service, the most reliable and predictable place to shop is Amazon!!

The propane regulator I bought for my tank was missing the o-ring and the slot for it. The propane delivery tech suggested this instead of having to redo the teflon tape after every refill to seal the threads. Worked like a charm, but be sure to check for leaks.

Great Product to have in case your existing gets damaged, O-Ring Breaks and the hardware store doesn't have it when you need it in an emergency. I bought this for building a Dual Tank Manifold along with a regulator of course. These are also great to keep around for garage type LP Heaters

Editing...After the shipping woes I described below, I found the EXACT SAME cooler at a large home improvement store that is in most areas. It's under the brand "Polar", but it is identical and made by the same company. There is nothing different about it. Same motors, same design, etc., and it was $199. I can tell you it keeps water very cold. My wife is not a fan of the energy saving "kettle" feature. It doesn't keep water hot so you can step up and get a cup of tea anytime you want. You have to press the button and 3-4 minutes later water will be tea/coffee hot. This is fine if you plan every part of your day. It sucks if you want to make a mug of tea on your way out the door and you forgot to hit the button 5 minutes prior.

First, I'll tell you that I have no idea if this dispenser keeps water at perfect cold or hot temps. I don't know if it easy to change bottles or to clean it. I was never able to get that far because Amazon can't ship this item anywhere without it being trashed. What I can tell you is that you should not buy this until Amazon figures out how to package this so that it can arrive in a form that resembles a water cooler. I wish I were kidding. This is a thin metal shell. It's nothing special, but what do you expect? It's a cooler, not a structural support beam. However, when you have thin metal containers, you'd think it should be protected from bumps and dings, right? This cooler could be creased with your bare hands, so sending it in a PLAIN CARDBOARD BOX with a small piece of stryrofoam on the top and bottom (Nothing on the sides!!! Are you kidding me??) is a recipe for disaster. I ordered this via Prime, and it arrived 2 days later. The cheap box was beat up. It had gone through the UPS wringer, that's for sure. When I yanked it out, there it was. The side was creased in about 2". Also, the top plastic cover was cracked from a ding or fall it took. I called Amazon and expressed my displeasure at the packaging and asked for a replacement. They sent one next-day via FedEx. Unfortunately this one was in even WORSE shape. The side was so bashed in the cover had zero chance of going back on. What a disaster. This would be an easy fix if they would simply put the cooler with its box in a bigger box and actually protected the product. So, until someone can verify that this cooler is packaged as if they actually wanted it to arrive in one piece, I would stay away.

I love this water cooler. It is very nice looking, with the water bottle underneath and out of sight. It has hot, cold and room temperature water. I have had other water coolers and this one is the best one yet.

The Vitapur Bottom Load Water Dispenser is perfect! I haven't used the hot water dispenser, as I use it for cold water only. It cools the water perfectly-enough to fill a couple glasses at a time before more needs to be cooled. The motor (? or pump?-whatever makes the water go up from the bottle to the holding tank) is a bit loud. Since I have it in the dining room, it's not an issue for me, but if someone wanted to put it in a room where noise would be a factor, I wouldn't recommend it for that location.

I was concerned about having it shipped, based on some reviews stating they arrived damaged. I had NO ISSUES whatever with shipping. The box had a couple dents, but nothing was dented/scratched on the water dispenser. It worked perfectly right away.

It's nice to be able to slide the water bottle underneath, and not have the extra vertical space taken up by a water bottle.

Honest reviews on Vitapur Bottom Load Water Dispenser

The bottom loading water bottle makes it easy to keep it filled. You can refill the 5 gallon jugs with 1 gallon jugs and not need to constantly change the bottle.

I have now had 2 different units shipped to me. The first was damaged and broken and the second one now leaks after one day of use. None of the fittings, doors or covers fit properly. The overal unit is made as cheaply as possible. In addition, the hot water option turns itself off after a short period of time. Thus, you have to wait for it to heat up every time you want hot water. This unit is one of the worst things I have ever purchased.

It's useful for really hot days. Goes through batteries every 3 hrs or so. The neck of the fan snapped but I think I was adjusting too much. I have it rigged with a rubberband.

Just get ready for everyone to comment on it! All positive commentsjust funny. It's like the best thing, ever!

I can't believe companies even sell clip on stroller fans that have hard plastic blades, but they do. This fan is superior because the blades are foam. If the baby sticks their fingers in the blades while the fan is running, they will not be hurt. All the fans I saw in stores had plastic blades and I just don't see how it is safe at all.

This fan kept my baby cool and comfortable in her stroller even when the temperature was over 95 degrees. She loved having a breeze on her face. The color and pattern is cute too. Would also be good for a bigger kid to take to camp and hook on their bunk bed at night.

It seems delicate to me. I had it in my diaper bag when we traveled and it broke apart in my bag. It switched on in there too and ran the batteries down. My son loved it and its very safe for kids to touch. The blades are just a soft foam. My son really loved it and grabbed at it a lot. He pulled the piece holding the blades off a lot!!

Honest reviews on KF Baby Clip-On Mini Stroller Fan, Green

This fan is great! It clips on the car seat, stroller and just about anything. I had so many people ask me where I got it. Our son touched the blades when it was on and it didn't hurt him since they are foam. However, don't let your kiddo get too close or they'll rip the blades off. That's what our son did.

Good little clip on fan the toddler can touch. Cute colors are fun too. We clip it to the stroller.
