I was looking for a hose mainly to hook up to a auxiliary sump pump. I saw this on the Amazon warehouse for about $20 and figured it was a better option than the cheap 5/8 inch hose I was considering. Plus, I could use this for draining my hot water heater.
There's a couple of good features to this hose. The ends are very solid brass couplers. Well-made with zero leaks. They are hefty enough that I don't anticipate any problems with them for the life of the hose. Plus, the 3/4 inch size has a noticeably greater flow than a 5/8 inch hose (especially when using it with a pump), and it comes with a life-time warranty (according to the packaging, if it breaks you need to send back the ends and they will send you a new hose).
But the hose itself is problematic with regard to kinks. It's more manageable when used with hot water, but cold water (or any outside temperature below 80 degrees) makes it very cumbersome to wind/unwind. It kinks VERY easily and the kinks are difficult to work out. The hose came with two kinks that have set themselves permanently into the hose restricting the flow, and the outer casing at the kink points is cracked. No leaks, but just a matter of time before the cracks extend further.
Even though it was so inexpensive I returned it and replaced it with a 3/4 inch Flexogen by Gilmore (got two 25 foot hoses on the Amazon Warehouse for about the same price I paid for this -$20). As usual, Amazon was a breeze to deal with regarding the return.
I'll give it two stars due to the connections and the fact that, in specialized applications, it's workable. But unless you're willing to put up with some major drawbacks, it's not worth getting even at $20, and absolutly not worth the full price.
Also, although the product info says it will handle water up to 200 degrees, the label on the hose I received says the limit is 190 degrees. We use these hoses daily for cleanup in a food processing facility. I've found them to be very durable. They last much longer than the standard hoses found at hardware stores.

Reviews of Holmes HCH4266WGL-U Twin Ceramic Heater with Manual Thermostat
We have oil heat and a very large older home so try to conserve running the furnace when you only need to warm up a few rooms. This heater is great for my livingroom it's has 2 ceramic heater units built into it, quiet, heats the room up very quickly would recommend it to anyone. Ceramic heaters use far less electricity than traditional heaters.
Pro's:
I have a very large bedroom (about 500 sq. ft.) and it does a very god job of heating it quickly
low profile and light weight makes it easy to move, but be careful
fairly quiet
good thermostat control, with 2 different fan settings
removal intake cover and "filter"
Con's:
needs 3 feet clearance on all sides per instructions
"filter" on the backside will only catch large clumps of dust, smaller hairs or bits of dust go right through and hit the heating element
cycles on and off a lot when reaches temperature, but would only wake a light sleeper
no GFI built in
BIGGEST CON : the expanded metal grate on the front gets very hot after short usage. It gets hot enough to give a nasty burn if touched. There is no secondary plastic grill as a guard. DO NOT LET SMALL CHILDREN OR PETS NEAR IT! This could be a recall issue in the future.
Handle: it's oddly placed on top so the average person would be more likely to grab it by he side to move it. MISTAKE: that's how you get a nasty burn.
I don't have any small children and my dog won't go near it, so I will keep it unless recalled.

We bought this ceramic heater to heat our Airstream TT as the propane heater heats great but is just too noisy. This heater is quiet, emits a suprising amount of heat, and you can adjust the temperature. All in all a very good value.Best Deals on Holmes HCH4266WGL-U Twin Ceramic Heater with Manual Thermostat
This little power house is easy on the wallet, very powerful, heats up in an instant and silent: there is no noise. I am very pleased with the quality of this item and intend to stay with this because I have to pay high gas bills and I use it to heat the room instead of turning on the gas heat. Works like a charm and makes the room toasty and warm without taking a lot of money either! I highly recommend this. Not one complaint. Very extremely pleased.Honest reviews on Holmes HCH4266WGL-U Twin Ceramic Heater with Manual Thermostat

Bought this heater through Northern tool. It functions well and really puts out the heat. It's a small unit and really easy to move around the house where heating is needed. I like the removable fuel tank and the ignition system.
Smells just a little bit upon start up and shutdown, but other that that, it really burns clean and almost odor free. Use only fresh K1 kerosene in this heater, dry burn the wick once every 5 tanks of fuel and the wick should last you 3-4 heating seasons. Just make sure your kerosene does not have water in it. A trick I learned a long time ago is to add 1/2 tsb of ISO-HEET fuel line deicer and water remover to each gallon of kerosene. The Iso-HEET alcohol will absorb any water and burn it off without messing up the wicks ability to wick up the kerosene.
I purchased kerosene at a local gas station, undyed was $4 a gal. (here in TN.) Local WMart sells kero for $10 a gal.
I like the removable tank, seems well made. filled it up, let sit for about a hr. (per instructions) and lit it up outside to burn off any residues. brought it in and adjusted flame to lowest setting, no flames on top.
the heater puts off a nice amount of heat, for it's size. and no stinky smells like heaters I used many years ago. I like it!
I'll post a pic of what my cat thinks about it.
As stated in other reviews -Very happy so far ,I had a big 23k kero heater years ago ,was good but drank kero.
This one is perfect for one big room/office to keep you toasty.removable/easy replaceable fuel tank a big plus.Super easy to adjust &turn off and relight as needed.look at Sengoku website for all kinds of pasts breakdown &info.
Pump is great too .I keep kero in 5 gallon blue can & use it to pour in removable tank. The pump i use to refill 5 gal tank & other kero items-stove(butterfly brand)& lanterns if i need them, from 2/15 gallon plastic tanks i have.

Got it for $89 bucks + shipping from Amazon. Arrived, very timely. Does everything it says it does, but gives off a fair amount of fumes. Would work great for a garage, workshop, or emergency use, but can't see how you can use it "semi-regularly" in your house. A carbon monoxide detector is a must. It's "fair". Update: After the initial break-in period, there's no smell at all. My CO detector says "zero". Heats my entire 1 bedroom apartment great. I recommend this heater. Next time, I'll be more patient when reviewing something!Best Deals on Sengoku CTN-110 KeroHeat 10,000 BTU Portable Radiant Kerosene
REally a reliable heater. Mine burns all night without a problem. Starts eazy and love the new no break started plug instead of the little wire that brakes on most ignighters. Burn wick time is cut in 1/2.You can't fill tank without putting it out first-real saftey feature. No kero smell during, after burning. or shutting off. Q-Mark MLY 5KW 240V UNIT HEATER *, HUH524TA Reviews
208/240v Electric Heater
Step 1: I wanted to work comfortably in an attached 22 x 22 (9 foot high drywalled ceiling) garage in the winter. Figuring I'd need lots of heat, I bought a portable 40,000 btu propane heater. It exhausts lots of carbon monoxide, so you have to partially open a door or window to the outside to let [cold] fresh air in -which seriously lowers heater efficiency. The heater warmed the garage, but the approach wasn't satisfactory -i.e., the fumes were so bad, I stopped using it. It was also very loud, like the hissing of escaping air from a large air boat; plus, when the propane tank ran out, the heater stopped; each time you needed heat, you had to drag it out, connect it to the tank, leave plenty of floor space around this self-contained-blowtorch; put it all away when you were done; and of course find a place to store it. Also, there was no thermostat. All in all, a royal pain in the keister. (Google search on: "propane heater carbon monoxide" to read about the serious risk of carbon monoxide from propane heaters.)
Step 2: I bought one of these electric heaters. It has only half the btu's of the propane unit, but there is no need to open a window or door for ventilation. It also has a thermostat, so you can set it (to a number, not a temperature), and come back 30 minutes later and be in relative comfort. On days in the low 30s, it will keep the garage in the 60s, which is fine for working.. (My attached garage ceiling and 2 walls are insulated.) My heater is mounted high up on a wall, but it can also be mounted to hang from the ceiling, as long as the clearances laid out in the instructions, are followed. In any case, once mounted, it is out of the way, and always ready. There's nothing to haul out or set up when you need heat -just turn it on. When done, just turn it off. This heater needs a dedicated 30-amp 220-volt circuit. You wouldn't want to use this every day, due to electricity costs, but for occasional use, it is perfect.
My advice is to skip step 1.
Note: As of this writing, Amazon sells this heater under several names:
Fahrenheat Ceiling-Mount Automatic 5000 Watt Electric Heater, Model# FUH5-4
Fahrenheat/Marley FUH54 Suspended Electric Heater
Dayton G73 Electric Garage Heater
Multi-Watt Horizontal Downflow Unit Heater With Thermostat 208/240v
These are all the same heater; it is manufactured by Marley Engineered Products of Bennettsville, South Carolina.

Very nice! It exceeded my expectations. Heavy gauge steel. Decent welds. The floral scroll work looks a little..too much in the pictures but is very nice in real life. Heavy duty masonry fasteners included, but would have been nice if masonry drill bit had been also. I used fasteners I already had with drill bit size I already had instead and it worked fine. I bought the 24 inch. It is actually 24 inches from wall to tip, more like 22 inches from wall to center of hook where pot hangs.
I would not hesitate to buy again!

Received this today and put it together, and just fired it up. As another reviewer observed, all parts present, unit well packed and undamaged. All the holes lined up well, and the bolts all fit well where they were supposed to.
It is easy to light, and seems to put out a respectable amount of heat. It is tall enough to be safe from hair lighting, yet not so tall that the heat is far from where it is needed. It is quiet, and the entire burner seems to light evenly with a nice blue flame. Most important, it seems safe to me. Reasonable build quality, a couple of safety features common to things propane, etc.
I am taking one star away for poor instructions. The print and pictures are very small and poorly labeled, and aside from using one's logic and experience (which isn't hard for this particular assembly), the instructions on which sized bolts to use where is virtually non-existent.
Still, happy with the purchase so far... It is what we needed at less than I thought I'd have to pay. And 2 day shipping was free with Amazon Prime.
ADDING another STAR for excellent year two performance.
Follow the directions... use good tools... example: The instructions suggest a phillips screwdriver, but a larger-wider flathead screwdriver also works with the eight bolts that are combination philips/flat. I think the flat driver would provide more torque. The instructions suggest a variable wrench, but if you have a nice set of open-end/box end METRIC wrenches or METRIC ratchet wrench... that might work better for you.
I assembled it last night, bought a new propane tank and fired it up this evening. It lit on the first click of the starter. Love it when something carefully assembled works the first time. I kept it low flame, to allow the heater to temper at first, burn off oils, color the cylinder, then turned it up. It has a nice blue ring of flame, red cylinder wall and very very little noise. In short it works just like it should.
At 40 degrees fahrenheit, with minimal wind, the range of each heater was no greater than 5 feet in diameter. In colder or windy weather, I imagine it may not even reach that.
In addition, due to Amazon's return policy of not allowing returns of items that use flammable liquids or gases I am stuck with these heaters. It's a sound policy, however it should give the consumer even more caution in purchasing this product.

Like other reviewers I found the directions to be bad even for the breed of low cost, low-price point, Chinese made products. That said, it is not rocket science and not terribly difficult to assemble. I had mine together in less than an hour working at half-speed and it contained all the parts, was packaged well and arrived undamaged. The metal body and wheels seem to be of reasonable quality while the top/heat reflector is beyond flimsy. I personally do not have enough experience with other similar products but I am skeptical the top will last. To be fair, it was less than $200 and not $600+ so perhaps the quality was consistent with the price. I purchased the manufacturers cover as well so I will keep my fingers crossed and update on the ultimate longevity of the heater.ADDING another STAR for excellent year two performance.

Received the package in good condition. All the items, nuts, bolts, everything was in order. The instructions are very small print, but you can find the pdf instructions online at the Fire Sense web site to view or print them larger. Nothing missing in the box... the only thing I added were three larger washers for the reflector hood. That's just me... because I may have to remove the reflector hood frequently for storage.Follow the directions... use good tools... example: The instructions suggest a phillips screwdriver, but a larger-wider flathead screwdriver also works with the eight bolts that are combination philips/flat. I don't know why everyone has such a hard time with the directions for these and or the quality. I purchased 1 last year and another this year and both have been most excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone and you can also get them online at Costco. Super easy to work and has the highest BTU's you can get, which mean more heat further away. The reasoning behind the title I chose is due to the amount of people I hear thinking these are supposed to absolutely work miracles. More explaining to this below.
After Reading some of the other posts, I had to add my 2 cents to the pot.
The iHeaters advertised on Amazon right now are the older (Last Year) models. I bought my iHeater last year (2008) in December. I have to say that last years model was great for the heat, but was a little noisy. I saw the new model and called about it and they said that the noise issue was taken care on the newer model due to they put sealed bearings on the fans instead of the open bearings that were on the older model. I decided to sell my older model and bought the new model for this year and man was I impressed. It runs ultra quiet. The one post I read about the hair dryer freaked me out a little as that is completely different. These heaters don't take the humidity out of the air (A hair dryer will) and the iHeater uses that to it's advantage. Think about it this way, moisture in the air is always moving (Whether you can feel it or not) and if the moisture is heated up, then the heat is distributed more evenly and would take less to actually heat the space needed.
I used the older model last year to heat my 900 square ft apartment. Beforehand I was using central heat (Electric Heat Pump) and my electric bill was running between $120-$130 per month. My electric bill after the iHeater was utilized never reached over $60 for the rest of the winter and I never turn my central heat back on. I set the iHeater to the Medium Room setting and the thermostat on 70 Degrees and my apartment never got below 68 Degrees and that was on some nights that the temp outside was in the teens here in Kentucky last winter.
My father owns 3 of these to heat his 2500 square ft (not very well insulated) older 2 story home and 3 more to heat his 3000 sq ft (not very well insulated) kitchen cabinet showroom. He claims that he saves at least $300 a month by using these instead of his heat pumps. We are both happy with ours because they are saving us money, but I could see how it wouldn't do so well for some others. Some of it has to do with conditions of the use. I will say that by far, these will not take the place of insulation or if there easy ways for the heat to escape the location intended for use. Other factors people should take into consideration... Multiple Stories, Tall Ceilings, Cold Concrete Floors, Older Windows, Amount of Doorways the Heat has to travel through, Temperature Outside, etc. If the heat is escaping with your normal heating source, the heat from this heater will escape also. That is where the "Not a Miracle" in the title I chose for this review came into play. I rate this item at 5 stars because it is doing exactly what I wanted it to do. Heat my apartment and save me money. Whether it will do this for you requires a little common sense and not really expecting a miracle. When a heater says it's rated for 1000 sq ft or 1500 sq ft, that is based on the most optimal conditions. When have you heard of any company trying to sell their product do ratings on their products in the worst possible conditions?
I suggest that if anyone who reads this does purchase a heater or multiple heaters, to figure some overkill just in case of that extra cold unexpected day, or just to make sure to save the optimum amount of money as possible. Keep in mind that if one of these are running full blast constantly every day to barely keep up, then that is constant electricity being pulled, but if you are running 2 or 3 of them spaced out among the location, then the heat will be spread out more evenly and they will run alot less altogether than the one that would be running constantly (non-stop) all day and all night.
I personally believe these things are the best things since sliced bread, but I used common sense when I set my expectations for the product. If you think that you can purchase one of these to heat 1500 sq ft and the rooms are very chopped up and/or you don't have insulation above the ceiling or under the crawlspace and/or in some outer walls, but not in others, then you really setting yourself up for disapoint or just want to buy one to be mad about it and prove the person that told you about them wrong.
Also, the one review I read on here said that they asked about a return policy by e-mail and never got a response from TOP TEN IMPORTS. But yet, she still bought it anyway. First off, if you e-mail someone about a product you are wanting to purchase and they don't respond, then why would you still buy from them after you already see what their customer service is like. There are other places that sale these products, find one with the customer service and courtesy you expect, then buy it from there. In my opinion, that person chose their own fate with this heater and not being able to return it due to not getting answers before she bought.
Hope some people find this helpful.
The heater cycles on and off as it should and we are using significantly less propane. I won't say 50% less because we need to see how it does during the colder months to really evaluate it's performance cost wise. Regardless though, we are more comfortable in the room with the iHeater than in the rooms without it, just as we expected.
I think the biggest mistake people make with these types of heaters is that that have an expectation it will instantly warm a room and will replace your other heat source. It doesn't work that way. Used in conjunction with and to supplement your normal heat source though, it does what it needs to do. The other thing you need to realize with any infrared heater is that you need to leave it on so that it cycles and continuously heats the floor, furniture, walls, etc.
I would definitely buy another one of these heaters and we are finding the PTC element to be preferable to bulb heat. I would also recommend this heater but caution that you need to understand how it works and how to use it to get the best results. Bottom line, we like it, it works and does what it is supposed to do.
I was a huge skeptic
I've tried several other options to keep my 1400 sq. ft home warm, and they worked, but only heated a very small space to a temperature (63-65 degrees F) that was still on the cool side
When I first started using the iHeater I was sure that I would have to return it because it wasn't heating my home but I found out I wasn't using it correctly
Ok, the first thing to know before you buy this heater, or any other heater of this type, is that it will not heat your home by itself! If you are looking to replace your furnace (like I was naively trying to do), then don't spend your money. However, if you are looking for a way to heat your living space to a comfortable temperature without your furnace kicking on every 10 15 minutes, then I would give this product a try.
Here's what I tried to do when I first bought the heater.
Set the furnace thermostat to 60 degrees F
Set the iHeater to 90 with the medium room setting
The results: The outside temperature was anywhere from 32 degrees F to the teens overnight. I let the heater run from about 3PM until the next morning at 7AM and the temperature in my living room (where the iHeater was positioned) didn't go over 63 degrees. When we woke up, it was 59 degrees and the furnace had kicked on over night. Needless to say I was discouraged after spending $300 on this black box.
Here's what I tried the next day:
Move the iHeater to a central place in my living area (I put it in a small hallway that connects my living room and dining room)
Turn the iHeater to 72 degrees F with the medium room setting
Turn my furnace thermostat to 68 degrees F
The results: The outside temperature was anywhere from 32 degrees F to the mid forties throughout the afternoon. The furnace got my home temperature up to 68 degrees after kicking on about 5 times in the first hour it was running. That was 7AM-8AM. Between 8AM and 9AM the furnace turned only 2 times, and the temperature inside remained 68 degrees. It's now 5PM, and the furnace has averaged to turn on only 1 time per hour for about 10 minutes to maintain 68 degrees throughout my home's main floor. That's 1/5th the amount of times it had to turn on without the iHeater.
I plan on playing with the settings (changing the room setting and/or the temperature on the iHeater) to see if I can get better results, however, changing the room setting will increase your power consumption. I have a Kill-A-Watt meter measuring the iHeater right now and Small uses about 950W, Medium 1070W, Large 1500+. Given my current setup the electric usage will be roughly 24-26kWH per day.
I hope this helps anyone that was thinking of purchasing this product, because I know I've been trying to find a way to cost-effectively heat my home for over a year and a half. Hopefully I've found it. Good luck!

We bought an iHeater 1500 after using a standard infrared tower heater so, we had some idea of how to use it. It doesn't work miracles but it will warm a room when used in conjunction with a regular heater, propane in our case. Here is the difference it makes and what it does. First, our room is only 500 square feet but has a sloping ceiling 12'at the highest point and 8' at the lowest making air circulation important so, we bought the larger capacity heater intentionally. This heater comes on and with the fan running, it slowly starts heating the room. It takes a while to feel the effect and unlike the propane heater that just heats the air, the iHeater actually heats the floor, walls, furniture and bed with the infrared heat. We notice the biggest difference in the room that has only propane heat. Chairs and fixtures are colder to the touch and the air temperature gradient can be anywhere from 2 to 5 degrees cooler. It works as advertised and we notice the biggest difference at night because the bed is definitely warmer from the infrared heat.

I wish I would have seen the reviews of the I-Heater H1500 before I had ordered and it would have saved me the grief I'm having now. To leave a review you have to give this item a star and it really deserves no stars. Top Ten Imports states that it will heat 1000-1500 sq feet....it didn't even heat a 13 x 13 room let alone warm us sitting right in front of it. I'm very disappointed and feel as if I was really taken. I'm upset because I'm an honest person and expect everyone else to be. Live & Learn...as they say. This product is a no return item but that is not stated on the website. Just like the other reviewer states if you see IHeater or Top Ten Import Co., RUN. I am also going to complain to my credit card company and hope they can help us.Honest reviews on iheater IH-1500B Quartz Infrared Portable Heater
This is my first review on Amazon, and I decided to write one for this product for several reasons:I was a huge skeptic

What a great little unit. I wasn't expecting much to honest just something to help a little with the cold WI winters and the high heating bills. I have the 1500 model hoping to keep the living room warm on my 1600 sq. ft home. I was amazed how it did this and more. I have 3 bedrooms upstairs and as long as I kept the doors open it did a nice job of even warming them from downstairs. If people think you just turn it on and instant heat your living in a dream world. It takes time, not overly long either but it does take a bit. Very very quiet. Just bought another smaller unit for my daughter that she also just loves.Friday, July 11, 2014

The Good:
I bought this grill for this summers motorcycle camping adventures. I can't think of a better use for this grill. Narrower main body section gives many options for tying down, and on my bike (a shadow 750) the bottom "foot hole" was able to go over and around my sissy bar and sit on my rack. Pretty sweet. 2 up camping now comes with a BBQ!
The Bad (at least for motorcycle camping):
It is a bit flimsy (but quite stable when open for grilling). With care, I am expecting to get about 50 or so BBQs out of it. After it falls apart I am planning to go to a metal shop in town and have it re-fabricated in some heaver gauge steel. I would be willing to have a little heaver (and smaller) grill for motorcycle camping if it was durable. The grilling surface is large. Expect to need about 3 pounds of charcoal to get it going well, 6 pounds (an entire small bag) of charcoal for a full grill to feed 4+ people. This makes it a requirement to setup camp, and then ride out to get groceries and charcoal. Messy.
I've BBQ'd for years and have to say the "action" on this grill is quite good. If you really have a need for an extremely portable grill, I would definitely recommend it. If you are just looking for a smaller grill for car camping or porch cookouts I would recommend the more traditional Coleman and Weber portable grills with a lid and better durability.
Very light
Decent Price
Doubles as a Fire Pit
Easy to Clean
Takes up very little storage space, either at home or during your travels.
Uses charcoal or wood as a fuel
CONS:
Grill portion, not made of stainless steel chrome plated steel.
Product arrived with some damage to the sheet metal since I do plan to USE this and know it will get damage, I opted not to return.
I used a hammer and "adjusted" the metal.
Overall:
The perfect companion if you plan an overnight car-camping trip or overland camping trip in your truck.
You can use either charcoal or wood as a fuel.
The fuel grill is perfect that when the fuel is burnt, the ashes fall through to the bottom of the grill and with a poker (wood stick), you can remove it.
Also from that same access hole (on both ends), it allows air to enter and help on maintaining the burn of the fuel.
A well thought out portable grill.

I had been wanting a foldable grill and didn't even know they existed until I came across this one on Amazon. It not only saves TONS of space on my small patio but it delivers in quality of food too! I've had a few bbq's with this grill so far and the quality of food has been phenominal. I find the easiest thing to do is to buy one of those small charcoal bags that all you do is light it no need to open the bag. It fits perfectly in this grill. The cleanup is very easy and not messy at all. And I absolutely love that it folds up to be about 1/2" wide. It takes up no room at all on my patio. I gave up my Weber big grill for this one great decision!!! I highly recommend this grill as it is great for serving about 6 good sized burgers and about 4 hot dogs on the grill at the same time. When I had it delivered at my job a couple of co-workers had me open it and display it for them. Then after that weekend of testing it out, I reported the good news to them and they bought it too. If you're looking for a small portable, durable, inexpensive, & reliable grill -get this one!!!Best Deals on Fire Sense Hotspot Notebook Portable Grill
I bought this grill because I have a small RV camper with limited space. The grill worked great except the grill is on very top with no sides so hot dogs can easily roll off. Also after one use, the paint peeled off and looks terrible. Seems like they could have used heat resistant paint like other grills. Once nice thing is after you finish cooking, you can throw in a couple of small pieces of wood and have a small camp fire. It is made of very thin material so it cools off fast once you dump out the coals so you can pack it up for travel. It would be nice to have a carrying case as it is nearly impossible to put back in the box. Other than that is exactly what I have been looking for for years.Honest reviews on Fire Sense Hotspot Notebook Portable Grill
It's an OK grill. Can't be moved with ease once lit. It's good for trips to the park with the way it folds up when not in use. I DON'T like the holes in the bottom because the coal dust falls out and this item cannot be put on say something (grass) that can go on fire. With the hole in the bottom there should be some sort of tray to catch the burned out coals that fall. I'm somewhat disapointed.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Fire Sense Hotspot Notebook Portable Grill

Reviews of Folding bathtub, Portable bathtub, Plastic bathtub ,Spa bathtub
This one deserves less than 1 star !
This product arrived with a pamphlet with entirely Chinese write up, no illustrations. Simple enough to assemble, so I had no problem setting it up.
It smells very strongly of cheap plastic. It has printed writings on the plastic in Chinese (which I am ignorant of) and in English:
It says,
"Note":
1. In a bath barrel injection should be the first injection of cold water, hot water re-injection.
2. Such as the elderly / infirm/the use of special patients, the next must have full custody of hand.
3. Prohibition and heat and sharp objects and easy on the plastic rot caused by contact with chemicals.
4. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
Water leaked briskly from the bottom seams that it could not be filled at all. I did follow the "first injection and re-injection" "note" fully, as well as the 'prohibition of heat sharp objects' !
Wasted $125+shipping....I helped my girlfriend pick this tub out. She had a few others we looked at, but we went with this one, because it looked like you could stretch your legs a little bit better than some of the others. It works superbly. Absolutely no complaints. Perfect score.

Real Flame Mt. Vernon Corner 6950-X-DW Electric Fireplace in Dark Review
Aside from both boxes arriving with no damage, there isn't much else good to say about this piece. DO NOT believe anything you read about this being easy to put together. It took me over 5 hours with a power driver (I can't imagine how long it would have taken with the regular allen wrench they give you). The piece at the bottom didn't properly line up either and there's a gap that's very noticeable. Also, the screws were rusted into the screen rod and were impossible to get out without a vice and pliars and having to strip them. There were also no holes drilled for the firebox to install in the back of the unit (not that this was a big deal, but for those who don't have a power drill it would be since it mentions nowhere in the directions that you need one). Overall after it was together, it looks ok with the exception of the white bottom piece not lining up and leaving a gap. For $450, I would expect ALOT more quality craftmanship than what I got. I probably would have shipped the whole thing back for a refund, but tearing it apart again and re-packaging it just wouldn't be worth it. It's not horrible, but far from worth the amount I paid for it. If I could do it over, I'd look for other corner units. This fireplace is really nice looking. A great piece of furniture for my living room. The room is large and it helps keep it warm as I have quite a few windows. Really pretty. I love it. A couple of my friends are going to order this very same fireplace.

This heater does absolutely nothing anyone would want. At best it is a $270 hand warmer. As another reviewer mentioned, even sitting directly under it will barely warm the top of your head. If you buy this, you WILL be disappointed.
I placed the unit at the back of our covered porch, set it to its lowest height, pointed it down, and sat directly under it, but only the top of my head was warmed. Weather conditions were 48 degrees and wet, but still, manufacturer claims of a 9' blanket of heat just are not credible.
The manufacturer claims of a 12' electrical cord are factually correct, but half of the cord is needed to run down the length of the stand (inside the metal tube) leaving you with (depending on how high you set the unit) only about 6' to connect to an outlet.
Regarding assembly, much of the unit seemed solidly built, but there was almost no threading for some of the screws.
One other note, Amazon lists the base at 33", but it is actually about 22". Not a problem, the base is heavy and the unit stable. But it might give you the wrong impression as to the size of the heater.
Very easy to put together. Be aware, there's ball in the heating head, when the heater is in standing position, there's a heavy ball that drops down invisible, when the switch is pulled. This is a good safety feature.
However, there could be defective parts, which happened to me. I had to call the manufacturer in Florida to replace it. Be sure to take pics and send to them for clear communication. Their customer service is pretty good.
The unit works well and looks great! Be sure to unplug it while not in use, and put the head cover after the unit cools down.

This looks nice, but you get what you pay for. It;s not real beefy, even though it looks like it. It requires a dedicated 30amp outlet according to my electrician. If you run anything else on the same line not good. It's IR, so you have to be in the "heat light path" so to speak, but you really need to be sitting right near it. If I was to get another one...I wouldn;t I would get a propane one that blasts heat and doesn't trip circuit breakers.Honest reviews on Telescoping Infrared Patio Heater - Glass Front

I live in New York City and own an apartment with outdoor space. Most outdoor heaters require propane tanks and propane tanks are not easy to acquire or refill when you rely on public transportation. I was hoping this Infrared Heater would extend the use of my outdoor space into the fall/winter, however that has not been the case. I received this very big box that required me to put some parts together. Assembly wasn't terrible, but more than I had anticipated. I put everything together, moved it outside to my 18x5 balcony and turned it on. After several minutes I checked to see how much of the balcony was warmed and was SERIOUSLY disappointed. In order to be warmed by this lamp you would have to sit within 12 inches of the pole.Tuesday, February 4, 2014

I just bought this a few hours ago. I hate ironing. I use standard business button-down shirts daily.
I have a portable chin up bar set up in a doorway that's perfect for hanging clothes on hangers, and it works great in conjunction with this steamer.
I think that if more people actually read the operating instructions, there would be more favorable reviews.
You need to keep the steam-head pointed upwards only, at all times, so that condensation can drop back down into the steamer. If you point the head in any other direction, you'll definitely get a little water. The instructions clearly point that out.
I also used "distilled" water since I live where the tap water is very hard and would clog it in short order I'm sure.
Using distilled water is a no-brainer no matter where you live. Minerals will eventually clog it up, though you can de-calcify the unit, as laid out in the instructions as well.
It's a simple device. You pour water in, it gets heated, and steam escapes from the holes in the steam-head. Between garments you just hang the steam head on the provided hangar which just slips over the top of the door.
In my opinion, this is SO MUCH BETTER that ironing. I hate ironing. This is great.
Simple device, easy to use, great results.
Also, as stated in the instructions very clearly, the hose will be stiff before use. The steam/heat loosens it up. Simple physics.
I've only used it this once, but so far I'm very pleased. Using distilled water should prolong it's life.
I would recommend it.

It actually does a better job of freshening things up than I expected; it even cleans off the white deodorant residue that sometimes smears all over the inside of a dress when a gal just tries it on. It de-wrinkles most fabrics beautifully, it's almost like magic with rayon, silk, and knit blends (but it's not quite so efficient on very creased woven cotton). It perks up wilted trim, like bows and pleats. Basically, it saves me a lot of time and money at the dry cleaners; and it allows me to describe an item as GREAT or EXCELLENT condition, when it might have been GOOD or VERY GOOD before steaming. So it's fantastic for my business (look for Johnny Bombshell on facebook!).
It's extremely lightweight and easy to use; I have experienced minimal sputtering (nothing to complain about) once or twice, but mostly it's just lots of nice quiet steam, and it gets the job done in no time. Just keep in mind that this is not a heavy-duty professional steam-cleaner; it's a small fabric freshener/de-creaser that, as far as I can tell, does exactly what it says it's going to do. Five stars!
Pros:
-Easy-to-use
-Gets the wrinkles out in half the time as ironing
-I hate ironing so this takes the cake for me
Cons:
-You have to keep the hose elevated or else it will spit out water. This was a problem for me since I wanted to steam bedsheets, mattresses, furniture, and the like
I've never used a professional steamer, but this fit my husband and I perfectly for taking the wrinkles out of our daily business clothes.

Spits more water than steam. I have tried cleaning the machine with no improvement. Also the hose is very stiff which makes it hard to maneuver. Poor design, cheap materials.Best Deals on Conair Compact Fabric Steamer
I've waited a few weeks before posting my review, but I really was in love with this steamer from the very first use. I did a lot of online research before choosing this one, and it has exceeded my expectations. I am a vintage/second-hand dress dealer online; I buy most of my stock in thrift stores, and, honestly, my top priority in buying a steamer was to guarantee that no pesky critters travel into my home or my customers' homes (Los Angeles has recently out-stripped New York in the bed bug wars, and steam kills 'em! Why take a chance, when peace of mind is this easy). It actually does a better job of freshening things up than I expected; it even cleans off the white deodorant residue that sometimes smears all over the inside of a dress when a gal just tries it on. Honest reviews on Conair Compact Fabric Steamer
Got this on a whim as I have always wanted one. Did not need anything fancy, but just to touch up stuff that has been stored or arrives from online purchase. I found it to work fine and does the job. Did not expect it to work as well as a professional one, but for me it is just what I needed.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Conair Compact Fabric Steamer

We bought this heater to replace a vertical, standing quartz heater, because our dogs would get too close to the quartz heater and face it, which is bad for anyone to do. This heater avoids that problem entirely, while warming its surroundings quite handily. We like the ability to customize the distribution pattern of the heat as well as the ability to set the temperature either as a unit or individually, however there was no instruction sheet, so learning how to use the various features had to be learned by trial and error. Nonetheless, this is a well-built system with good design and excellent safety features. The only improvement we would suggest is quieter fans in the units.
