Stand fan heater much more powerful then compact fan heater. hot hot hot.. Has to be positioned a distant away from people. Thermostat can be set to desired temp and shuts off after a few minutes reaching the setting.

Cons:

Took a while to figure out how to assemble the base/pedestal part. But once that's done evrything's fine.

I find that in general Lasko products are reliable.

I did not like this product. I was very excited when I received. Good price, good size, but I turned on and it stoped by itself. I tried several times. Finally, I gave up and returned it and got my money back.

I used this item under my desk all last season instead of a typical space heater. I am an energy conscious person and I knew that most small space heaters start at around 1000 watts. They blow hot air which promptly rises to the top of the room. Ironic since most people are complaining about their cold feet. Because this item only draws 90-120 watts, it can very safely be run through a timer. This allows you to have it automatically turn on just before you arrive at the office and turn off when you leave in the evening. There is an odor associated when you first begin using it but it does fade in time to be almost un-noticeable.

The low priced version from Amazon.com was temporarily out of stock so I had to buy the 36" by 16" heated mat from another seller.

NOTE: Rating lowered to two stars due to lack of durability (see update at bottom)

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

The mat with plug and lighted rocker switch plus a set of directions.

I also bought the optional plug in high-low switch which is really a good idea. I will tell you why shortly. I use my mat on top of wall to wall carpeting at the foot of my recliner. It's perfect for the four season family room where I have it sitting in front of my recliner on a carpeted floor although I am debating putting the heated mat under a throw rug. The room has plenty of glass so the thermal transfer is not optimal for cold and windy nights.

Pros -Warms up quickly, no smell from the rubber mat as others have reported. Not only are your feet kept warm but the entire area of personal space warms up to a nice cozy feel. Mat has an on-off switch which lights up when on and goes off when turned off. The optional high-low switch provides plenty of heat on high if your toes get cold. Best way to use it is to turn it on HIGH for a 15 to 30 minutes to warm things up and then switch it to the LOW setting for ongoing warmth. What a great device. It works like it claims.

Cons -None other than the black rubber mat decor theme won't win any awards from home decorating magazine editors. I will try tucking it under a more stylish rug.

Summary: You will like the mat. Do yourself a favor and buy the high-low switch for regulating the temperature on a floor where you walk around in your bare feet or with socks. If you use this on a cement floor, you'd want it at max output just to keep things warm.

One word of caution for anyone getting the idea of using this in a bathroom to warm you feet when you get in and out of the shower. There is no GFI or grounded plug! It's a simple two pin plug so doing so wouldn't be a great idea.

Update 12-27-11

I really like this mat heater. After 3 weeks of use I have concluded the optional high-low switch is a must if you use this to warm your feet when wearing socks or only in bare feet. The high setting is a bit too warm for my liking.

Update 1-15-12

Still working great. I placed a bathroom rug on top of the black mat and it works great and feels better on bare feet or socks. The only downside is my pet bassett hound likes it too.

Udate 3-18-13

After one year of great heat the mat is slowly dying. One six inch section is ambient temp (i.e., cool to the touch) and the rest of the mat is luke warm even at full power. I removed the optional hi-lo switch from the connectin path and it wasn't the problem. I have no idea why it is failing, it just is! The rating has been adjusted to 2 stars because of its lack of durability.

Best Deals on Indus-Tool FWB Super Foot Warmer Mat

I have had this mat in place under my desk at work and running on high for about a month. It works just as I had hoped. No more cold feet! The smell of "hot rubber" was very evident the first week or so. Even now, if I mistakenly leave it on overnight, there is still a very slight odor that is noticeable when I first come in the office in the morning. (The office is approximately 18'x30' with about 13' high ceiling and is kept closed up at night.) Perhaps with another month or two of use, the smell will go away entirely, but even if it does not, it is not a deal breaker for me because it is hardly noticeable any more.

Honest reviews on Indus-Tool FWB Super Foot Warmer Mat

I use these in my home workshop in the winter. Standing in front of a lathe or milling machine in a chilly shop with cold feet is tough, but with this my feet stay cozy warm and this lets me work in short sleeves in the 50s which provides greater safety around machinery. I've used these for 3 winters now and am very happy with both the heat provided and the durability. I got an identical item from another online retailer.

Completely throwing all warnings out the window (oops), I purchased this with the intent of using it as an energy-efficient heating pad to put under my dogs' bed in the garage. It is definitely energy-efficient, but it doesn't put out much ambient heat. I had the product shipped to work, and it will definitely keep your feet toasty by standing on it! I definitely can't knock it for it doing what it's supposed to do really well! I may have to look into something else to keep my dogs warm, but I think I'll see how this goes when it starts to cool off again.

Also, without putting your face to the mat, there is no smell of rubber. Like I said, I gave it a test run at work when it first arrived. I had it under my computer desk and never noticed any smell coming from the mat.

My heater arrived yesterday. One of the warmer days we've had. But I wanted to use it anyway. It works nicely, BUT IT IS LOUD. My air compressor can not even drown out the noise, but I will get used to it as I do wear ear protection when I operate the machines in my shop. The thermostat controlled shutdown and start-up is a plus.

This is a great heater, puts out alot of heat in a short amount of time . I use it in my garage, it's a little noisey , but most blower heaters are. I had to adjust the air mixture screw just a bit cause I burn diesel, works great. I'd Buy another if I needed one.

I use this product in my two car garage when I service my vehicles. It puts out a lot of heat quickly. The only draw backs are it's very loud and when it first starts it will spit out some fuel on to the floor. It works good for me the way I use it. I have had it for over two years now.

Honest reviews on Mr. Heater MH75KT Forced Air Kerosene Heater

I have had this heater for 2 years. The first two winters it worked flawlessly so when I wanted to start using it for this year I figured it would fire right up and keep my garage warm so I could work in there.

Well the fan comes on the spark ignites but no flame. When looking at the fuel lines they were all cracked and almost broken in half. They must have used really crappy fuel lines as I used the correct fuel for the unit Kerosene. Looks like I wil have to take apart the unit and replace all the fuel and air lines. I would figure this would be the least of my problems fuel lines. Hell fuel lines last for decades on automobiles. Seems like they used really cheap materials on this unit. I am holding my breath to see if other parts are as crappy as the fuel/air lines.

Good for boiling water but seems to drip but not leak, maybe condensation or sweat. I wouldn't try soup, to difficult to clean. Boiling water for condensed soups would be my suggestion but that means another seperate container/cup to mix...more to do. Or you could buy a nice thermos here on Amazon that's gauranteed to keep anything hot or cold for at least 8 to 12 hours. I use a combination of both being on the road 3 to 4 hours a day & avoiding fast foods.

Cheap Soleus LX-140 14,000 BTU Portable Evaporative Air Conditioner

Soleus LX-140 14,000 BTU Portable Evaporative Air Conditioner With Heat Pump
Customer Ratings: 2.5 stars
Buy Now
Before buying a portable air conditioner, it helps to understand what you can expect and not expect from it. There is no way it will provide the cooling of central air, ductless air or even a really good window unit. I have owned all of these and speak from experience. However, when you move into a condo with all kinds of restrictions about what can be visible from the exterior or constraints on the architectural structure, then the portable is the best answer.

I have owned 4 of these and three different brands. My condo has three separate major spaces, 2 smaller for bedroom suite and office/den. The main living space is larger than the max recommended for any 120 volt unit, and that is where I now have the Soleus LX140.

The two smaller spaces are cooled with GE 10,000 BTU units that I have had for 5 years. HE quit making these units the year after I bought them They are quiet and have held up and keep the spaces in the upper 70s when the ambient temperature is in the mid 90s.

I used to have and Edgestar in the main space. I live in the Seattle area so only need the cooling about 2 months a year, and then not every day. The Edgestar was the worst unit I have ever owned. It was the noisiest unit and it quit in the middle of the second season. I called the manufacturer in Texas and they said it only had a 90 day warranty. They also said they had no service reps in the Pacific NW and couldn't help. After lengthy searching, I found one person who said they fixed them. After spending over $300, it still didn't work. The service tech said he would take it to the shop and return it in "New Condition." That was a year ago and I have never seen him or the unit again.

So I bought the Soleus. I found a dealer in Portland where I knew I could get to if needed. The manufacturer is in California, I can get there pretty easily too. Also, the Soleus has a 1 year warranty. I ordered the unit and it was delivered in 7 days. I set it up immediately but found that you had to use the remote to turn on the fan oscillator. It had to be the receiver or the transmitter, but I didn't know how to tell. I called the dealer, and within a few hours I got a call back from the manufacturer. They said they would send a new remote. If it still didn't work, they would send a label and an RMA. I got the remote in three days and everything worked.

The Soleus runs about 10 db quieter than the Edgstar. My main living space has 594 square feet and with partial cathedral ceilings about 5565 cubic feet. I am on the top floor, facing southwest with ceiling to floor glass across the entire space. Without any AC, the space has reached 110 degrees when it was 95 outside in the late afternoon. Also, there are no opening windows or sliding doors, so I am venting the unit up the fire place flu.

One week we had three days in the 90's. When it reached 98 degrees outside, the Soleus kept the space at 81. When the temperature reached 85 today, the Soleus kept the space in the mid 70s.

CONS: The only con I have at this point is that the fan oscillation is vertical instead of side to side.

The next test will be longevity as to how long it will hold up. However, at this time, the Soleus LX140 has proven to be the best unit of its type that I have used and I am very impressed with the technical service assistance of the manufacturer.

This product is too LOUD for any room.

When I contacted the seller (Air & Water) there return prosess was beyond belief. I had to re Double Box the unit and ship it at a cost of approximately $382.46 and the unit cost was $489.90 a differance $107.44.

The shipment arrived in a ONE WAY carton, removal of the unit from shipping packaging required the package be distroyed.

$107.44 is a big difference for return of a $489.90 product.

I plan to contact the manufacture and inform them of their vendors return policy.

I believ Air & Water (seller) should inform buyers about the noise level on this product (NOT FOR BEDROOM)

Best Deals on Soleus LX-140 14,000 BTU Portable Evaporative Air Conditioner

This unit is about as loud as a window A/C.

It works well. It puts out plenty of cool air.

The only downside I found, was that the hoses are only long enough to put the unit under the venting window.

My application required it to be about 10' from the window.

The hose extension kits available via other vendors are poor, so I am told. I made my own via flex ductwork (Same as drier venting ducts.) from Lowes. The only problem with this set-up is that the hoses that come with the unit are 5" in diameter and most of the flex duct work come in 4" or 6". Then you have the issue of how to connect the two hoses.

I contacted the retailer about available hose extension kits for this unit. They directed me to the manufacturer who never replied to my email.

As such, I returned the unit with the blessing of the manufacturer, who was responsive to my return request.

The bottom-line is that it is a good unit for the right application.

Honest reviews on Soleus LX-140 14,000 BTU Portable Evaporative Air Conditioner

As an air conditioner this product is so so at best...... Setting up as an air conditioner is awful! The tubes on the back don't want to stay where they are supposed to. It is all VERY CHEAP plastic on the back of the unit, so trying to connect the hoses to put into an open window is so frustrating. They just keep coming unattached on BOTH ends. CHEAP, CHEAP,CHEAP.

Truly, don't bother with this product, buy a real air conditoner.

Nice compact, quiet, and safe heater. Puts out plenty of heat controlled by a thermostat. Auto turn-off if tipped but very stable. Fan can be turned on as well, but doesn't really make much difference, so it can be left off for silent operation. Can't imagine any other heater this size could be a better choice. It's about 3 feet wide, 6 inches thick, and 10 inches high. I haven't gone thru a winter with it yet, but it's obvious the heat it puts out will do the job.

Opened the box, plugged it into a kitchen outlet and waited, waited, waited for the thing to warm up my small kitchen. After two hours, I could touch the unit to warm my hands, but that was about it. Called KAS, only to be told I would be responsible for the shipping costs to return it to them, and it would take 4-6 weeks for them to send another. God Bless Amazon they paid the full return postage for a full refund on the unit.

This unit stopped working the first day of use. It has a shut off mechanism that cannot be reset by the user it needs to be sent back to the factory to be reset, which is more money and time than it is worth. Garbage!

Honest reviews on Honeywell Low Profile Silent Comfort Heater, HZ-617

My experience with this item was wonderful. It was silent and distributed a decent amount of heat. I used it to heat a room that was about 9 x 12. I kept the door closed and the room was toasty.

The only down side is that it died in stages. But for the price I paid and for 4 years of use I would encourage others to get this item.

works well

keeps bedroom warm at night so

we dont need to run the furnace heating the whole house

radiant heaters need to be near a wall

preferably where a window lets cold air in

they heat the air and it curculates up and around the room

they do not radiate out next to you so dont put them in the middle of the room like a ceramic space heater with a fan

ours worked well but is now not heating as much

still working though

will try on medium setting instead of low

getting two more at home depot on sale

dont get fooled by the bad reviews by people who dont know how to use a radiant heater

but dont overlook the ones that said they had failures of switches or leaks etc

failures should be rare but do happen with any product

stupid users should be rare but are all too frequent

I bought this heater to warm a small one bedroom (barely insulated) home and it did well when the temperatures outside ranged from 40-55 degrees but when it got into the teens and 20s outside, this thing could not compete. Typically I find that it raises the inside temperature about 17-21 degrees above the outside temp. When it was in the teens and twenties, I was only seeing about a 15 degree increase, on high all of the time.

I am pretty accepting of the fact that there was typically a consistent 20 degree increase in temperature, but now that mine has stopped working completely, I'm not such a big fan of this giant thing just taking up space in my room. I'm almost 100% sure that the problem is a faulty dial/knob. When I first started having issues with this knob was when for some weird reason it wouldn't turn on high anymore... only med and low. Then it stopped turning on when I turned it to med, only working on low. Then the orange "on" light started blinking when I would turn it on any setting, but not actually stay on. So now no light turns on and neither does its heating functions.

I got this thing less than 60 days ago by the way......

I've used the same one by duraflame and it also was not such a great experience either. Every 15-20 min, it made some weird creaking noise that got very old, very fast.

Best Deals on Pelonis 1,500-watt Portable Electric Oil-filled Radiant Heater

After much research and review of various heaters I came to the conclusion that this one would work great and it did. We have an old Lakewood 7101 that still works great but wanted another oil-filled radiant heater for another room. We purchased a Pelonis 1,500 watt oil-filled radiant heater and could not be happier. It works great and we especially like the thermostat that works and keeps the rooms the right temperature. There is no oil smell at all with this unit. Having it on wheels makes it easy to move around on hard wood floors. BTW, you do not need to keep the unit next to a wall as it works just fine 2-3 feet away from the wall. I don't know how long it will last but am very satisfied with the unit thus far.

Honest reviews on Pelonis 1,500-watt Portable Electric Oil-filled Radiant Heater

My delonghi floor heater quit working after about 10 years so I went to home depot to buy another affordable one. I ended up picking the pelonis because it was on sale. The first thing I noticed was the pungent odor it gave off so I didn't really want it in my bedroom where the air would be enclosed so I used it as the kitchen heater. Then, after a few weeks the plug melted so I replaced that. After a couple months the smell went away but then I started noticing burn marks on the outer surface of the metal from it running at a high temperature day in and day out. The metal began to warp so that I couldn't roll it properly either. Finally, after owning it for a total of 4 months it burnt out. I really wish I would have saved my money for something else.

We got rid of our old oil furnace, which no longer worked. We put one of the Pelonis in each room. We were disappointed at first. Then I realized it had nothing to do with how hot it got, but the circulation of the heat. So I put a small fan behind each one and set them to a very low blow setting. This gently circulated the heat around the room. We are very happy with this system of heating.

Dimplex CFP3652C 20"Cherry Electric Fireplace looks awesome. The flame is way to dark and there is no controls to make it brighter. The heat it puts out is ok for a small space. Thats all it really is, is a space heater in a fireplace cabinet. The other problem with the Fireplace is it is noisy and can get on ones nerves. The motor in the back makes all kinds of noise after about the 2nd week of use. For the price i paid for this i could have gotten a pellet stove and been much happier. It cost about $40 a mouth to run and that is not savings when you can get a pellet stove for around the same price and save a ton of money and have a real fire place at the same time. Again its nice just priced way to high.

Heat, if that's what you want, this heater will give it to you. Before I tell you what's good about this heater, let me tell you why I only gave it 4 stars. The reason: This heater doesn't have a thermostat. It is a completely manual turn on and off unit. It does have a timer, but I still haven't figured out when to use the timer other then putting it in a room and leaving the room knowing it will shut off when it reaches the time I set. Other than that I can't think of another reason except maybe when you go to sleep it will shut off, but it will get cold if it shuts off and you'll have to get up or use the remote to turn it back on. Either way, it's not a big deal. This heater is well worth the money. It has a gorgeous dish with diamond cuts throughout the inside and when it's on, wow, the look alone is worth the money. It also warms you like the sun. We have a fairly large media room and this heater makes us quite comfortable. We don't even have to put the main house heat on. Now keep in mind that this isn't a whole house heater, but a rather good room heater. It has a telescoping pole (I wish it would go up a little higher) so you can raise the heater and this comes in very handy. The 2 heat settings are low and high. High is only 1000 watts and low is 800 watts. Both are very economical. Those 1500 and 1800 watt heaters are very passe'. We leave it on low most of the time. It really does generate lots of beautiful, warm sun like heat. It has a very good tip-over switch which shuts the heater off if it is tipped over or bumbed hard. There is no hesitation in shutting it off, it's instant and that's a good thing. The entire body except the front grill is made of plastic so it's easy to move around. The front grill is metal. The heater also can oscillate. The remote controls the timer (up to 7 1/2 hours), temp. control, oscillating and on-off.

My only question mark is "will it last"? Only time will tell, but if you need some heat now, I absolutely recommend it. The cold can be bitter, but this heater will put a smile on your face. Don't be cold. Listen to Doctor R. I know about being hot, warm and cold and I'd rather be warm or hot and this heater will keep you warm...

Doctor R.

I only had this heater about 3 days when, after having been on for 4 hours (not an excessive amount of time), it started shooting sparks out of its back. I was in bed falling asleep, and don't want to think about what would have happened had I slept through it.

Best Deals on Comfort Zone® Oscillating Parabolic Dish Radiant Heater with Romote

You'll need a Phillip and about 20 min as the instructions aren't clear and putting it all together is a matter of trial and error. The actual oscillation is a bit wobbly and all plastic parts looked "used". The remote works well from my bed and is perfect for warming up the room the short time between hitting the snooze button and actually getting out of bed.

Honest reviews on Comfort Zone® Oscillating Parabolic Dish Radiant Heater with Romote

I am saving a bundle on propane costs since I started using the Comfort Zone parabolic heater(s). I especially like the remote control for heating ranges and the oscillating feature. The unit has performed as expected with no component failures. I would recommend you purchase one for each room. It really does the job in keeping the room comfortable and takes the load off of the forced air system. I know this sounds like a commercial, but with my heating bills costing $500.00 or more a month, I have been able to keep the costs down to $300.00 a month by supplementing with the parabolic heaters. My Electricity bills have increased slightly. (around 25 to 30 dollars a month} The units were recommended by a friend whose heating bills were a three times as much as mine. These old victorian homes are hard to keep warm in winter.

The oscillating is a nice touch because it gets really hot facing at the one direction. If you need only feet area, it maybe a bit high position but it is great for quick warming up for the room.

I had read reviews for it a few years ago, and the negative reviews convinced me that it wasn't worth buying. Why buy something when I could clean better without it? I got it as a christmas present a few months ago. It has some issues, but I'm still giving it five stars because I still love it!

SUCTION: It is true that the Little Green is not as powerful as a regular steam cleaner. But the suction is still pretty good. If you hold incorrectly, the opening isn't pressed against the carpeting and so it won't suck anything up. You have to make sure that the opening is sealed against the carpet. Once you know what angle to hold it at, it is easy to get it right. If you are confused about this, try it out on your palm.

SPRAYS EVERYWHERE: It sprays the water in a wide "fan". If it sprayed a tiny stream it would take forever to spray something, so the wide spray is good. If you were using a spray bottle, you'd have the same "problem". If you really don't want to hit something move it or cover it.

LEAKS: If you leave it sitting around full of water, it will leak. Mine has never leaked while I was cleaning, but one time I left it on the kitchen floor overnight and it left a pretty big puddle (of cleaning solution, not the dirty water). When you are done using it, you have to rinse it out and put it away. If I have a lot of cleaning fluid leftover, I put the tank in my mop bucket (opening facing up).

DIRTY WATER TANK HAS GUNK AND HAIR IN IT: Don't you ever vacuum?!(kidding). Pour hot water in there (bathtub faucet works great), slosh it around, and dump it out. Do that a few times. Don't leave dirty water in it, or it will smell. It's dirty water.

YES IT HAS ISSUES, BUT, IT IS WORTH HAVING AROUND: When I think of all the times I had to clean diaper blowout, spit-up, cat puke, and spilled drinks out of the carpet by soaking it up with rags, spraying it, waiting ten minutes and then "dabbing" (over and over and over again, with all the windows open) I just have to think of something else and try to stay positive. If anything happened to my Little Green I would buy a new one in a heartbeat.

I have been using it for months, but today was the day I knew I had to write a review for the Little Green. My toddler took off his diaper, "had an accident" and ground it into the creamy white carpet until there was over a square foot of... well, it was pretty horrible. If I had to spray and "dab" that clean, I'd still be working on it next week. But with the Little Green it took about 20 minutes and that includes the extra time it took to clean out the Little Green (because: ewww).

After having a baby with reflux, two cats, a husband, and ME using tan microsuede couches for almost 4 yrs, I was about to pay to have them professionally cleaned. When I looked into the cost of that, I then started looking for upholstery cleaning machines. With microsuede, if you dont remove all of the water, a horrible watermark is left and these compound over time and make the appearance of the fabric look awful. I knew that whatever I purchased was going to have to be able to remove the cleaning fluid AND clean really well.

This product not only meets my standards, but exceeds them! Worked like a charm and will save us tons of money in the future since we have a new baby coming in 6 wks!

FYI, included with the machine is an 8oz bottle of the cleaner (Advanced Stain). I bought a 32oz bottle along with the bissell because I wasn't sure how much I was going to need per cleaning (only a few ozs!!!) and wasn't sure if any came with the machine. The 8 oz. bottle will last me a good amount of time! Just thought I would mention that!

The machine is a little loud (wasn't sure of what to expectsounds like a vacuum). But, it's worth every penny!!!!!

After reading reviews on Amazon, I sent my grandson to buy locally the Bissell SpotBot Pet Carpet Cleaner. He had not seen what I wanted, and brought this home by mistake. It is the best spot carpet cleaner we could want. The power brush works well, and the vacuum extracts the filth and water, so the restored carpet dries quickly. My house is a severe test, since we have multiple pets, and the less said the better. We have used other carpet-cleaning products with this, besides the little bottle included, and they work well, and the machine has not clogged.

Honest reviews on BISSELL Little Green ProHeat Compact Multi-Purpose Carpet Cleaner

I really look at all the reviews of everything before I buy it. I don't usually write reviews but I felt that this little machine has been so great that I had to let people know. First off, out of millions of these machines sold there is possibly going to be a lemon in the group. If yours doesn't work return it and try a new one. I think I have the slightly older model because mine doesn't have the skinny attachment shown in this picture, but it's the same machine.

I've had this machine over 2 years now and it still works great. It's light and compact, the hose is adequate to get where you need to without bumping into the machine all the time. The machine itself is quieter than some other machines, but of course it's going to be somewhat noisy. You won't be able to clean in a sleeping baby's room, but it won't wake up the whole household if you have to use it in the middle of the night. The electrical cord is long enough to extend to places you need to go and it's very compact and it fits neatly under my bathroom sink without taking up all the room. I like the heater for the water because sometimes the water in the tank can cool down before you are finished with cleaning the spot. The instructions are very easy to follow and it's pretty easy to clean out when you are done. The dirty water tank you do have to rinse a few times and shake the container to get rid of any debris, but truly not that big of a deal. The super tough stain brush is helpful for tough stains. I usually don't have to use it though because the regular attachment does fine.

All in all I would highly recommend this machine. It has been a life saver of stains in my carpets. I have 1 cat, that pukes, a dog and kids and this has saved my carpets many times.

This is the best hundred bucks I have ever spent! I have had this product for several months. I wanted to have plenty of time to use it and really test it out before reviewing. I really wanted the spot bot but could not justify spending that much money on it. After owning it I am VERY happy that I ended up with this instead of the spot bot. I LOVE this machine. I have two dogs and a child (also a military husband who tracks in god knows what on his dirty boots every day) and my carpet is fighting a never ending battle to survive. With this machine I have been able to VERY quickly clean up messes and also remove stains that have been in my carper for over a year. One of my dogs has a bladder issue that has required three surgeries in the past year. In the weeks leading up to and the two weeks following these surgeries he becomes incontinent and leaves at least a half dozen stains (more simply put, he pees in the carpet)per DAY. I have had problems in the past with trying to clean these messes up and just before buying this product I was thinking of replacing my carpet. I bought the little green proheat and proheat carpet shampooer on the same day. THEY ARE BOTH AMAZING! Since I began using them my carpet looks brand new. Literally. My neighbors all comment on how clean my carpet is and ask what type it is since it still looks brand new. I LOVE IT! Every time my dog has an accident or my kid spills something I just grab my little green, spend 30-60 second using it and BAM!, the mess is gone. I have used this to clean us fresh messes and also to clean up very old stains that I thought had no chance at coming out. I am so glad that I did not spend the extra money on the spot bot since I have read it can take over an hour to clean one stain. The little green is so much faster and could not be easier to use!

The only thing I must warn your about is that it is a good idea to actually empty the dirty water tank after each use. I forgot to do this for almost a month and started to notice an unpleasant odor every time I started to use it. When I finally had to empty the dirty water chamber I realized that this was there the smell was coming from. For the first two months I was religious about cleaning the dirty chamber and Flushing the spray line with hot water (as I had read that spray line clogging seemed to be a problem for a few people.) After several months of use I have not been flushing the spray line and only suck up some clean water from my kitchen sink after each use and mine is performing beautifully. It is very simple to use and requires no real preparation. I simply fill the cleaning solution tank when It is empty (rarely) and put it in the closet and it is ready to go at a moments notice. The suction is amazing and the cleaning solution is quite hot after the heater has had 15-20 seconds to heat up. You will not regret buying this product; I promise! If mine were to break tomorrow I would absolutely run out and buy another!
