I downloaded the trouble shooting guide from Sta-Rite and went through the diagnostics for my problem. A bad sensor was indicated. Called Sta-Rite to confirm. The tech said it was actually the thermal regulator that had gone bad.

I placed the order on July 3rd. It shipped the same day and showed a delivery date of July 11 to July 26th. Imagine my surprise when the mail lady delivered it on July 7th.

It took about ten minutes to swap out the regulator and I now have a hot spa again.

Here in MI things get cold quick and living in a cold finished basement makes things tough. My computer room is a tiny 6x10 and doesn't have vents for heat. The hallway near the doorway lacks them as well so it gets very cold. When I saw this heater for i figured to give it a try for that room.

The heat is just about instant. No waiting for it to warm up. The thermostat works nice to keep the room at a very comfortable level. Nice to have so you don't have to keep adjusting and turning on and off. Sound is very quiet. Much more quiet than my normal desk fan, but it sits on the floor under the desk. I just realized its sitting right on the carpet and I wouldn't worry about it falling over or anything. It is very sturdy and kicking it somewhat gently doesn't knock it over. The unit is very cool to the touch even while running. I actually picked it up while running and was examining the bottom.

I was kinda disappointed about one thing. From the picture on the box I assumed it would oscillate which would be a cool feature, but since its only its not a big deal at all. It does have a swivel base that turns about 45 degrees either way, but with it being so light I don't see a point.

This unit is 1500 watts ... um or amps ... whichever the case, my computer is a gamer computer and it draws ... a lot. So the point is that when I am gaming, I have noticed that every time the heater kicks on the lights dim a little bit just for a split second since I have them both running off the same circuit. I don't know if I would put them in the same outlet ... but then again nothing goes into the same outlet as the PC anyways.

Pros: light, quiet, instant heat, doubles as a fan, PRICE!

Cons: not really any unless you need one that oscillates or you are going to land an airplane with your Christmas lights this year.

I used this both for cooling (in fan-only mode) and heating. The heat works great, and it warms up almost instantly. The cooling side is good, but it doesn't push as much air as some regular fans, so I need it a 2-3 feet away to feel enough breeze to cool me.

The plastic grill does rapidly change color to show it's hot, but I found that unneeded because the grill itself never gets hot. At times, I've had it accidently fall over or get covered, and it's never overheated or made something crispy. :-)

The thermostat also works well, and is easy and user-friendly to adjust. The fan is very quiet; sometimes I don't notice it's on. It's very lightweight and is easily swiveled to fine-tune the direction.

Mine finally died after frequent use for 8-10 months, but I feel I got my money's worth, and I'm buying another to replace it.

Bought this to warm a cold study but it started sparking on the 3rd use ( and past time I could return it). Completely defective I can hear loose wire when I pick it up. The sparks were frightening if I hadn't been in the room I don't know what might have happened but now I understand how space heaters burn houses down.

I bought this in the winter of 2007 to heat a cold office. It worked well and I used it for a few hours each weekday for two winters. Toward the end of the third winter (last year), it started turning off after a few minutes of use. Now it stays on for about two minutes and then shuts off for 5-10 minutes. It's not being used in an enclosed space or with anything close to it; it seems to be sensing overheating without actually overheating. Maybe I'm expecting too much by thinking this should have lasted longer, but two and a half winters of use just doesn't seem like enough. I wouldn't recommend this heater.

I bought this fan to attach to our BOB stroller for our 7 month old daughter who gets very fussy in the warm weather. I had read reviews about it being cheap/low quality but we really like it so far. First, you can't beat the price. I will agree that the foam blades could very easily be torn off by my daughter who is fascinated by them, but the alternative (plastic or metal blades) would probably not be a great solution either, for obvious reasons. The fan produces a pretty good breeze which keeps my daughter cool and therefore less fussy on warm days. We initially had the fan closer too her and she put her fingers in the way of the blades while it was going. This entertained her for a while but then she started grabbing at them so we moved it further down so she wouldn't tear them off (easy solution to the other reviews about how cheap the blades are). Overall, the cost is great, it produces a great breeze and it can attach almost anywhere. You can't go wrong, I'd highly recommend it!

Bought this Fridge for my camper van and it's awesome. It is quiet while it is running and is well insulated. The power usage is minimal and I feel part of that is the top loading door versus a front loading door. The cold air stays in the fridge and therefore needs less power to keep things cold. Love the wireless display that give temp and power usage.........

The price for the 63qt is great. I couldn't be happier. It is similar to the Whytner/EdgeStar/whatever clones but with a better controller board and some added features... Build quality and materials are top knotch. The wireless remote temp and voltage monitoring is cool and works well, no one else has this. Current consumption while the compressor is running is around 5.5 amps but seems to keep the heat out well. My testing was brief but seemed to indicate that the claimed hourly average current consumnption is possible (fully loaded cool day in the shade) I will update the review after some long term testing. Went with 4 stars since there are more efficient compressors out there like in the Engel/ARB/NationalLuna price bracket. For this price range I say it is top shelf. Only time will tell if it can stand up over the long term.

This kerosene additive really seemed to help, especially while the heater was burning. But of course when it was turned first turned off, the odor was still quite strong. But it worked well for what I needed it for, no toxic fumes while burning. Thanks

I was very hesitant to purchase this vacuum because of the bad reviews. Glad I didn't listen and went for it. This vacuum DOES NOT have a suction problem! I am fairly confident the issue is people don't read and comprehend the user manual. The problem comes down to TWO fill lines on the water tank. The fill line on the front (which is easy to see) is the water line when you must EMPTY the water tank. The real water fill line for normal vacuum operation is on the back of the water tank and is harder to see. The water fill line on the back is about 1-2 gallons less water than the one on the front. I did an experiment and the more full the water tank, the less suction power (makes sense as more water in the tank means it is harder to pull air through the system). When the proper amount of water is used (or even a little less to cheat) this thing has great suction!

Biggest positive:

1 Water filtered vacuum is awesome. This allows for almost zero dust being expelled from the vacuum. No longer do I get "allergy nose" after I vacuum for an hour or so.

As much as I like this product, I can't give it 5 stars.

Drawbacks:

1 The canister is pretty large and heavy. I could not imagine my grandmother using this vacuum.

2 Wish the wand was a little longer or adjustable. I'm 6ft and need to bend a bit.

3 The lid on the water tank doesn't have a latch, if the canister ever flips over you are going to have a mess on your hands.

This machine is great for hardwood floors, tile floors, flat carpeting, cleaning upholstery, steam cleaning rugs/carpets and auto interiors....when used correctly! 1)Never rely on "air-driven" turbo-brushes, regardless of the make/model! 2)Read instructions thoroughly and make sure when vacuuming to use the water fill-line in the back of the water filtration container 3)You can remove the HEPA filter in the front of the machine if you like; this will create more air-flow, thus increasing your suction and cleaning ability/power! (the water in the container and the hepa filter in the back of the machine are more than enough filtration!)

4)If you know you will be vacuuming around baby changing table or anywhere body powders are applied, add 3 tablespoons of mineral oil to the water because baby powder/body powder cannot get wet....the oil will "grab" the powder and keep it in the water filtration container! 5)Never use more cleaning solution than directed when doing "wet" cleaning! 6)Even without the turbo brush, this machine will probably pick-up more dirt than regular vacuums because it never loses it's air-flow, which is the true ability to clean/pick-up! 7)You can add a few drops of fragranced oils to the water, this will freshen the air while you clean! 8)When done using machine....rinse/dry and wipe down the water filtration tank with alcohol or vinager before storing! 9)IMPORTANT: IT IS VITAL THAT YOU CHANGE THE WATER WHILE CLEANING WHEN YOU NOTICE THAT THE WATER IS FILTHY, ALSO, YOU WILL MAY NOTICE THAT YOU ARE ABOVE THE WATER FILL-LINE WHEN IT IS FILTHY DUE TO INCREASED MATTER IN THE TANK....THIS REDUCES ITS CLEANING ABILITY, IT ONLY TAKES A COUPLE OF MINUTES TO FLUSH THE FILTHY/DIRTY WATER AND REFILL IT! 10)You can use this machine to clean the air in your home....when finished cleaning, change the water, add some fragranced oil if you like (we like a few drop of eucalyptus.)and run without any attachments on the intake in each room for 10 minutes once a week, this will greatly reduce the amount of dust in your home, reduce allergy symptons and increase indoor air quality!!!! I don't know why, but I obsess over my tile floors. I have to have them clean and there can't be streaks, spots or dirty grout. To me, it never seemed like a good idea to throw water on the floor, swich it around until dirty, then let it dry. The floor is still dirty. I knew there had to be a better idea. I searched all the stores, then online. I found this machine almost by accident, I think. And you can only get it online. It's the perfect price point. Thank you Amazon -and thanks to the people who took the time to provide reviews. I had my machine within a couple days.

The first day I used it I knew I had found what I needed. It was immediately obvious that this machine is superior for cleaning the approximately 1800 square feet of ceramic tile in my house. The grout was cleaner, there were no streaks, no spots and, best of all, the effort I expended to clean it was much less than that stupid mop and bucket.

Not only that, I was able to clean my chairs, two couches, and the carpet in the rest of the house. The dirt that came out of all my furniture made me both feel dirty for living on them but also a lot healthier now that they are so much cleaner. I also cleaned the carpet and other fabric areas in my cars with the same great results.

Now, I've only had this machine for a few weeks so I don't know how it's going to last -especially since I plan to use it a lot. But it seems well made and sturdy. It's not a professional machine to clean tens of thousands of square feet in heavy use buildings. But I found what I need for my 2,400 sq foot house.

I highly recommend this machine if you have a similar situation to mine. Bissell, you could market this machine a little better so more people can benefit from it. But thanks for a great product. You have my endorsement.

I was really excited about this because of the multi-function use. At the same time, I was skeptical. Our little dog likes to pee in small places on the carpet, so we needed good carpet cleaner that would deep clean these areas.

The carpet cleaner works very well. Both the large cleaner extension and the handheld spray and suction the water, which most others do not do. It was a decision between this and the Hoover Agility. The Agility does not seem to have a sprayer on the extension hose.

When it comes to the vacuum, it's not that great. The suction is only good enough for area rugs. The carpet extension has a air powered brush that stops working on normal carpet and it only cleans the top surface debris.

So, if you want something for hardwood and deep carpet cleaning this is great. Just don't try to replace a regular vacuum cleaning with this.

I bought this after a Hoover Steamvac died. I tried a Dirt Devil Easy Steamer and hated it. I work in hospitality and am used to canister style steam cleaners. This is about as close to a commercial unit as you are going to get, just without the huge size and high cost. it does a fantastic job. Not sure what is going on with the bad reviews. I have had this for several months now and use it quite often with animals in the house. It works perfectly every time. It has even gotten out stains that I thought were never coming out! I would definatley recommend this carpet cleaner.

This fireplace is very lovely. It has multiple light and heat settings. It is very attractive!! However, it is also a bit too loud. For the price, I expect it to be quieter. Our other complaint is that the top is not a solid piece, but made of 3 pieces. However, it is cute and looks nice in our corner and I am keeping it, but it was expensive and I wish I could figure out how to quiet the sound a bit.
