We purchased 4 of these chairs to use on the 2nd floor balcony of our waterfront condo. We wanted the height to be able to better see the lake over the raiing yet, being just a condo balcony, we needed chairs that wouldn't take up a ton of floor space. Most of the other brands out there are much more bulky. These are perfect. Solid & very stable yet slide easily. Good height. Relatively easy to assemble. Comfortable to sit in even without cushions. The polywood never gets hot in the sun. Require no maintenance and wipe clean.

We bought 4 bar height chairs and a table in white 4 years ago. The table and chairs instantly got moldy and have stained our set. When I called the company they said to powerwash and use bleach regularly. Well I spent $2,000 dollars not to have to do that. The product is sturdy and strong but my set looks dirty and nothing will get it out.

We ordered 4 chairs initially an they were great so we ordered 4 more. Of the 4 additional chairs, 3 were missing the inserts for the screw to catch. We returned these through Amazon (which was very easy and well done) but of the replacements, one still had the screw inserts missing and one came with a bolt that was already stripped. This time we rejected it as we checked before fedex left. It is a real pain because they are heavy and are difficult to put together in terms of getting the holes to line up. Some were a piece of cake, and others were very difficult. But if you finally get the top put together and then realize the screw catches are missing for the footrest, it is really unfortunate. You have to take it apart and box it back up. For almost $300.00 a chair, I want them to be perfect the first time.

The rejected chair is not showing up in my Amazon account yet. Hopefully that will be resolved shortly.

Love them. We ordered six. The only issue I had was that almost all the screw inserts were missing. We received them on a Friday. After notifying IvgStores, we received the missing inserts 6 days later on Thursday. If I was going to order again, I would ask them to verify that all the necessary components are there before they ship the product out. I believe a previous reviewer also mentioned missing components. I gave the product 5 stars. They are heavy and solid. We purchased the white nautical bar stools and the white nautical bar table. If they get dirty, I hose them off. If dish soap doesn't work, I can use straight bleach. Nothing is going to hurt these. They are great on a dock; not affected by salt water and they won't slide around when the wind picks up.

Delivery was on time, the quality was everything we wanted. They are absolutely beautiful. The chairs are extremely comfortable. Won't fade in the outdoors. Completely weather proof. When a part was needed the seller had it to us within 2days.

I purchased this heater to help keep my "three season" sunroom warm in the cooler weather not toasty warm, but above freezing and usable with a couple sweaters or a light jacket. It is solidly constructed, and the fan moves a good amount of air without being too loud. It has a timer to allow it to run and then shut off or it can run continuously, but the thermostat has no markings to indicate desired temperature. I also find that it tends to cycle on an off frequently and somewhat unpredictably, as though when it runs it heats itself up and the thermostat shuts it off prematurely. It seems to work better when laid on its side rather than standing up.

Since I purchased it to prevent a room from getting too cold but actual temperature is not a major concern it is fine. If you are looking for a heater for a primary living space where accurate and consistent temperatures are desired, this may not be the unit for you.

I was almost convinced not to buy this, buy the other amazon reviews. My own experience differs greatly. I bought this during the Friday special for $30 and free shipping. The heater is large, so make sure you note the heightxwidthxdepth numbers. This isn't a cheap small heater like the 2 dozen at walmart. The heater is much better than others (cheap walmart type) I've used in the past. The ONLY annoying thing was the timer that made a noticeable time-bomb type of sound as it counted down. HOWEVER, after close examination I noticed that there is a setting that doesn't use the timer, that also rids the user of that annoying tick. So, that detractor is gone.

Another reviewer noted that it was loud and shaky on hardwood. I disagree 100%. I'm using it on hardwood, and get no vibrations at all. The only thing I hear is the white noise of the heater working. And its no louder or quieter than what I expect from any portable heater.

This is a very decent header. The housing is big relative to the heating element. I got this unit at a very good price because it was featured in a Friday sale. The only complaint is the control; it is not intuitive or it is unnecessarily complicated. Normally, one would not need to consult the manual to understand the control for a simple heater.

I bought this heater during the Friday deal. For that price this heater is great value and a real bargain. It seems well made and has decent features. I have used it both in the tower and horizontal configuration and it provides heat quickly feels real nice when you enter a freezing room. I am ordering a second one since we were taking it all over the house. The controls are easy to use once you get used to it. I had to refer to the manual a couple of times to understand what the various symbols on the dial meant but it was no big deal.

I bought this heater on a Friday sale so I got a good price on it. I was looking for a small heater to warm a bathroom during Illinois winters and this has fit the bill. The heat output is great for the small room, it heats up in about 2 mins and needs to be turned down after 10 mins. The controls are not the best as mentioned in other reviews the "on" dial is like a kitchen timer that ticks all the time. But for the hour I need it in the mornings, it works really well.

I have the Intermatic FD60MH 60-minute Spring Loaded Wall Timer wired to a towel warmer. It works quite well, but is a bit noisy. You can hear it ticking 10 feet away. It seems very well made and will probably be quite reliable over the years. Since the timer uses a spring mechanism, it does not draw power to use it, or in standby mode, as some digital timers do. The small form factor of the timer allows it to be installed in a double wall plate with another switch next to it.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This heater is a lot smaller than I thought. It's just a little bigger than my PC!!! It's also lightweight. Very impressed with the size and weight. I have a two car garage and I usually exercise there. In summer time, everything is okay but during winter, it's really cold in the garage. It's still quite hot now, so I tested it early in the morning when the temperature is about 65 F. I turned it on for half an hour and about 20 mins later, the temperature was brought back to about 70 F. Quite happy with the result. Given it's small size, this one will be perfect for someone working in a garage or small warehouse.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I will start this review by saying that I did not use the brackets that came with it. I used it as a stand alone. I am always doing stuff outside in garage in the dead of winter so I was excited to be getting this item.

I plugged it on and shut the garage door-I have a 2 and half garage size-and came back about 15 minutes later to see how warm it got. I was impressed my garage was so warm and cozy. I did not think it would warm the whole garage but I was wrong. Now I dont have to freeze my butt off this winter when I am outside.

Sorry to read another reviewer who had problems with his Model 157. Mine has worked perfectly for several months now. I chose the Model 157 rather than the Model 154 in spite of that reviewers comments. I'm glad I did.

UPDATE: It has been working perfectly for over a year now!

I installed it above the open stall of my elderly mother's doorless shower directly in the rising mist and high humidity. I run it (and another 1250 watt portable heater) for several minutes before her shower and total running time each use is probably about 30-45 minutes. It has never failed and the (large) bathroom warms up a LOT. Haven't measured the temperature, but it gets "toasty" in there (and as humid as a sauna.) I was worried the high temperature and moisture would be an issue, but they have not been a problem. In other words, it gets plenty warm in there without tripping any high-temperature safety feature in the unit.

I chose the Model 157 because of the heavy-duty element. It takes a couple minutes to fully heat up to red-hot, but that's fine. I think it will last a lot longer than the thin spiral wire element of the Model 154. In my opinion, it's well worth the extra cost.

I bought this item to replace one that had gone bad after 40 years. It was an 85 year old lady friend of mine and she said I was a 'gift from God' after I put it in. This was the easiest bathroom appliance I have ever had to istall. A monkey could put this in. a silicone grommett or washer for the screw holding the screen on could cut down on some chatter/vibration I heard. Other than that it works great.

This heater is great...it really cranks out the heat. I live in an older house, and replaced the Broan model 158. However, I've learned the hard way that the thermal switch on this unit is not reliable. Once the unit turns itself off via the thermal switch, it won't come back on. I've went through three thermal units before I learned my lesson. With the 158 the thermal switch would reset itself and I would be able to use the unit again. So if you really want this unit, buy a timer switch to go with it.

If I had to do it over again, I wish I would have gone with another 158. It worked fine on the old fashioned toggle switch.

Was looking for a bit of supplemental heat in master bathroom on cold mornings. We already have wall lighting, nice ceiling vent fan but found this for a bit more heat to replace another ceiling light fixture, didnt want or need another light or fan combo. I also bought a timer to replace flip switch, my fear being might be left on all day by accident. This replaced a ceiling mounted light fixture pefectly, gives off a fair amount of heat after 5 min or so and was pretty reasonably priced, looks ok more flat platinum color than bright chrome/silver, but works well for the money spent with no other home modifications.Got what we wanted.

I knew it would not "throw" a lot of heat but you have to stand really directly under it to feel it.

Just purchased this (Lowe's $38) and used it last night. I've used various (all ceramic) models over the years and was very pleased with this one planned to return to Lowe's for a second unit and was checking prices on Amazon. Will now be exchanging it for the tower version of this model (didn't realize it featured a multi-function remote) which received great reviews here. The oscillator works well (90 degrees side to side).

NOTE: despite the claim here of an internal tip-over switch (not stated on the carton) this unit will not shut off until the overheat sensor activates. I did not wait for that to occur as I tipped the running unit over backwards, forwards and each side the only difference was reduced air output on its back (since the carpet was blocking the fan's air input) and higher temp setting when tipped forward (as the temp+ button contacted the carpet).

Bottom Line: had I not found a more desirable alternative, or preferred a shorter unit, I would have purchased a second identical unit and been quite satisfied (although careful to reduce tip-over risk).

Bought this from Lowe's. All functions worked well. The timer was odd in that you set how many hours ahead you want to turn it on, but that was not hard to grasp. I had two issues with this unit: You have to turn the timer on every night in order for it to come on in the morning before you get up. You can't set a timer and have it run on its own like a light timer. We were using this for a sunroom so it would be warm when I got up to let the dog out every morning. The problem we had was that we either got a flaky unit, or the whole design was bad, because if we wanted the unit to work properly we had to turn it on and then off before setting the timer. If we didn't do that, the unit would turn on, but the room would still be cold. The nights we remembered to turn it on and off before setting the timer I would wake up to the room being warm and the heat maintained. Since I wanted a low maintenance heater this one was getting to be too much remembering for me and I took it back.

We live in a drafty old house that was built in 1855. The kitchen is freezing! 63 when the rest of the house is at 71. The heater runs a lot in the kitchen during the day, but keeps us comfortable. I use it in my daughters drafty bedroom at night and it shuts off when the temp is reached so she's not overheated! $10 rebate going on through Jan. 31, 2013 too. Good price for what you get. I bought it for my office because i like a little warmer and office is always set at 71-72F. The heater looks good and has decent features. The best part that i like is that it has remote.

Now the worst part which rules out all good things...the heater is just too noisy. In my office i feel like am sitting in an airplane. The heater has no high/low setting for fan and the fan just keeps spinning at a very high speed. How difficult was it to put that feature? It has a high low setting for heat which is only to switch the power output but not to control the fan. I just needed to warm the room a little but cant stand the noise. Also, it doesnt turn off when set at 73 even when my wall thermostat shows 73.4 degrees. I would recommend a Lasko heater because they all have high/low settings and are much quieter.
