These are good units. I will buy more.
Bought mine from AirConditioner.com a couple of years ago. It is cheap to run, 19 SEER I think.
This one require 220volt power.

I did the install and had the HVAC guy do the final hook-up and charge the system with freon.
Took him an hour or so.
One of the things about it I don't like is whenever you make an adjustment with the remote
it beeps and turns on a blue light on the unit up on the wall.
Not good when partner is asleep.
Looked thru the owners manual and online; anyone know how to turn off light and beep?

I bought this unit which has yet to be installed as I just found out it requires an outdoor unit to work. Buyer beware! This unit is designed to hook up to another outdoor unit -it is not self-contained. I did find the outdoor unit for around $900 from pexsupply, but the 9000 btu model has been discontinued so there are only a few left out there. Hope this review help others avoid my stupid mistake.Honest reviews on LG Art Cool LMAN095HVT 9,000 Class BTU Multi-System Wall-Mounted
I've had this unit for three years and it is extremely efficient and works great until it doesn't. Both the inside and outside pcb electronic boards have been replaced and when they fail they are hard to get. LG has terrible customer service and parts support.Oh, and LG doesn't offer a labor warranty so make sure you have a reputable installer who'll give you a decent warranty if you decide to buy an LG unit.
I didn't buy my unit from amazon.
