Ok, yes the price is very low, but the description is lacking and wrong. It says "glass paneled door" well it's really thin cheap plastic, and you can tell visually, super bummer. The stove itself is plastic also, it looks nice but it is painted plastic. On the plus side the heater works very well. The flame looks pretty nice also. I think that the biggest problem is the quote "glass front" that is a disappointment.

I have had one of these for about 2 years now. I love the flame effect and it has helped me with my stress to have it's glow. Being a man who was always good at fixing things, when the heater motor started whinning in the 2nd year of operation, I took the back off, greased the bearing, and put it back together. Worked great again! Then just recently, the flame turning motor started acting up and I took the back off again to see if there was an obstruction or something to grease or oil. Evidently the gears inside of the little motor, which I didn't see any way to remove and replace, are just wearing out due to being plastic. So bottom line, it has some flaws. Still, I enjoyed the flame effect and heat so much (with that great remote, that I just bought my 2nd one. I figure $100 a year ins't bad for what you are getting. Yes, it was made in CHINA.
