We use this heater as our main source of heat. During the winter we freeze and it won't heat the room over 57 degrees. We have to use a separate space heater in addition to this one to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Our small heater puts out more heat and keeps our room warmer then this one does.

This is a great heating unit. We use it in an office that was converted from a garage. The room does not have duct work from the house and it is very cold without the heat. This unit heats the entire room which was a two car garage so it is a very large space with a high ceiling, larger than more room sizes.
The unit is able to turn off and on automatically and has a very good thermostat that keeps the room warm all day. I usually turn it off completely in the evening and it is pretty quick in the morning to heat up. We live in the South so it is warmer. It might not do as well in the cold Northern spots.

I purchased this heater from Sam's Club for $59.98. I also purchased the 1 year replacement plan for $5.72, just in case. I bought this heater as a secondary heat, our primary source being a wood stove. So far, I am very pleased with the amount of heat that is produced. It did take a while (couple hours) for our living room to heat up, but once it did, maintaining the heat seems to be no problem. I think for the money, this is fairly good product.

My girlfriend and i purchased this heater at sam's for $60. we had this thing for a few months now and all i can say is this thing is under powered. It takes 8hours just to raise the temperature in the apartment 10 degrees, and it take 2 hours to raise the temp in our small bedroom to 74degrees. This thing also keeps tripping the fuses.
