I have a Dimplex 7.5KW garage heater, and this switch lets you bypass the heating elements so that you can use the heater as a fan in the warm weather.
The heater had cutouts and mounting space available for the unit, so installation only took a few minutes. It wires right in following the schematic on the underside of the heater...all in all, a neat looking installation.
Only complaint is that it seems to me this should be a standard built-in part of the heater, not something that you have to pay extra for. Otherwise, it does the job and transforms your garage/workshop heater into something usable year-round.
