I purchased these although there were a few poor reviews. I had been using the standard Duraflame logs. My opinion is the Gold logs burn much brighter and hotter. If the fire dies down a quick poke in the middle of the log will bring about large flames. I have found the burn time to be accurate. If you make fires as much as we do and want a more realistic burn, I would 100% recommend these.

PS, I have a sensitive nose and did not notice much of any fuel smell. I do keep a close by window slightly propped just for fresh air.

Ive been using these logs for the past month and have been really impressed. They burn well and have all lasted 4+ hours.

Given one is the maximum for a fire with this product, the big ones are the only ones to make it worth openign the flue (smaller ones allow let cold air in)

These work to heat the entire rec room and beyond.

worth the money these logs burn longer than the cheaper logs and they burn great. would buy again ----good for one you don't feel like chopping wood good replacement

Wish these things lasted ten times longer for the amount of money you are shelling out for each log. Meh.
