After talking to InnoMax the new heaters don't heat like the old ones like I used to have. They just maintain temp. They recommend getting a second heater if you have a lot of fiber pads in the bed as I do. Should work ok for summer then we will see.

They were not aware of any heaters that heat any better. Hey I am saving energy!

After two days, the temperature of the waterbed had gone up 4 degrees, in the middle of summer. Went to a place down the street and bought a different brand and it was up to temperature in 24 hours. Waste of money.

We actually had to turn the heating element down; it warmed so efficiently. You might need two on a larger waterbed, but we have an oversize single and it is more than adequate.

I have it heating a floatation tank to 92 degrees. With the evaporation, it is probably running a lot more than a water bed so... I'd say it is doing well.
