Its quiet, small in size and attractive. However the face of the heater gets really hot -you would burn your fingers if you touched it right after turning it off. Also the controls being on the rear means you have to turn it around to adjust or "learn" how to do it without looking --mostly OK except the temperature setting wheel has no lines or numbers to assist in setting the temperature so if you have a favorite setting and it accidentally gets reset (easy to do with the thumb wheel being on the back) then you will have to experiment in order to find that setting again. And as in my photos, the high / low heat output button is not obvious as to which is which and the wattage in the documentation is wrong.
Usage Update: you better not change your mind after you turn this guy off (or turn the thermostat down) because it will not restart and put out heat until it cools down -which takes 15 to 20 minutes. It apparently thinks it is overheated and thus the long cool down period is needed before it will start up again. You really have to like small, quiet, attractive and expensive in order to put up with this guy.

If you live in a small apartment, such as the styles found in San Francisco, this is a great piece. It is the least ugly heater I've ever seen, so it doesn't clutter the place. It is surprisingly small, and stows away easily when you are not using it. When you are, it cranks out heat, but rather silently. The only thing I'd say they need to improve is that the buttons on the back are poorly labled. I can't tell if I'm on the high setting or the low setting, because the toggle switch doesn't tell you which is which. Oh, designers.Best Deals on ANNA Ceramic Heater
I was looking for a small heater to take on a cruise through the baltic, where I suspected that it would be very cold inspite of the ships heating system. I liked the looks of the ANNA and the weight. When I got it, it would heat for about three minutes then the thermostat would turn off, and i couldn't get it to turn back on for about 8 hours. I ordered a seceond one and it ran a little longer, but the same problem with the themostat occurred again. I read and reread the instructions, and had my kids read them, but no success.Once the thermostat would click off heating, even though the thermostat was about in the middle of its range of rotation, I could NOT get it to turn on again for many hours. The purpose of a space heater is to keep the "space" at the temperature you want, thus it should turn off and on again by itself, but if you want the temperature a little higher you should be able to rotate the thermostat and have it turn on again. We have other heaters that work that way, but both of these ANNA heaters would not. Finally I just gave up and sent them both back. I did give it two stars because it is quiet when it did run, the heat output is adequate, and the styling is excellent. But if the thermostat won't turn on and off automatically, or when you want more heat and you turn the thermostat manually...it's useless as a space heater. But it can be used as an expensive, stylish doorstop.
Honest reviews on ANNA Ceramic Heater
This is by far the most architect friendly space heater out there. It puts out a lot of heat and is nearly silent. It does not have much of a fan, though. The biggest problem is that it claims to have a thermostat. This led me to think that I could set a specific temperature, like 70 degrees. This is pretty much a standard feature on space heaters. It may have a "thermostat" on the interior but the only control setting is hotter/colder. In addition there are no markings on the rolling dial adjustment knob. I guess you could mark it up with a sharpy your self. Isn't this a great opportunity for some minimalist Swiss graphic design? Is no markings the ultimate in minimalism?
If you only use this occasionally, it is wonderful. If you use it daily I would still consider it, but also other manufacturers.
