My first waterbed heater lasted nearly twenty years. When it died, I grabbed the first heater I could find and it was small and chintzy, the thermostat lasted barely a year. To replace it, I shopped more carefully this time and found this one. This waterbed heater is big and beefy, like the first one. It heats the bed quickly and efficiently. I did have to get past the safety warnings which were rather scary, but really just said to use it only on a big sack of water type bed only and keep it off the seams in the supporting wood. Though I have only had this a couple of months now, I expect to get many years of service from it.

It was easy to install and works great. You can't beat the price for the quality of waterbed heater. I would recommend this product.

The full watt heater maintains the temperature accurately. This is our second InnoMax Thermal Guardian Quantum, the last one worked well for over 5 years. Will buy again if I live that long.

This heater lasted 3 1/2 months...tried to return and wasn't able to because the window already expired. Waste of money.
