Amazon shipped this item with a private shipping company which called ahead to schedule delivery and ensured the unit was in good condition. I had some trouble determining the plug type prior to receiving the air conditioner. I wanted the wiring to be ready before it arrived. It comes with the 30 amp 3-prong 240V plug shown in the online manual. It was about a 2-day job to get this mounted thru the wall on my own. I had to enlist a friend to lift it in though. The unit works great compared to my old 120V 10,000 btu air con, plus the heat pump feature will be great for some chilly mornings!

This unit cools or heats three good sized rooms with no problem. 220V uses less electricity than 110V units, so runs cheaper.

This replaced a Whirlpool in-wall 25,000 BTU unit that sounded more like an airplane at takeoff than anything else when it was on High. The noise-level is about half of the old AC which is a downright pleasure and does just as well to keep the same area cool.

It is big that's true, and look nice but that's not the point here. Product description says that it can cool room sizes up to 1672 sq. ft. This is not TRUE at all!

I have room 20x20' and this unit doesn't do any good. It makes room cooler but not cool enough. I would expect much more from 25.000 BTU and before this one I had like 10 years old unit 22.000 BTU and I see no differences. So something is not right. On sunny hot day you will sweat. I wouldn't recommend this to no one. Not very good if you need cool your room/house, unless it is small room.
