Works well in a ventilated or outdoor area. Throws out heat comparable to a small gas grill. Should get a lot of use out of this heater. Simple design means less crap to break. Use for fishing, camping or any outdoor activity which chilly air can ruin the fun.

the all pro with the red knob is the best to get for outside heating the Infra-red heater out beats, any model. If it has a red butrton it usually is infra red buy this product onlybecause other ones don't heat the area, when its coldthis one does

When I purchased this, it had five 5 star reviews and one 1 star review. Unfortunately, I had the exact same problem as the previous 1 star review. When I lit the heater, it was fine for about a minute, then started sputtering and shooting flames from the front, and eventually shut off. I repeated several times, double checked the installation and operation instructions, and it still didn't work.

After inspecting the unit, I realized that a rivet was missing, which was allowing air to leak in, apparently causing the sputtering and flame. I was able to bolt it down using my own hardware and the unit works fine now.

Had it worked from the start, it would be a great buy. As is, I can't give a good review to something that I had to fix (and only hope stays functional).

the product is well constructed and is built to last many heating seasons.it starts stays lit and regulates burn to a quality degree.very pleased with product.

Great heater for the money. I got it for working in my detached garage, but I found it is effective even outside on a 35F day while I was replacing my car brakes. I just got an exchange 20LB propane tank in the local (NY) liquor store for $22 and running! The unit also will work with smaller tanks like 5 pounds, typically not as convenient or cost effective as the classic 20 LB.
